What are the advantages and disadvantages of your profession?

Advantages
1) I always smell great
2) everyone wants to be my friend
3) I can immediately make you feel better
4) I don't have to rely on technology to do my job
5) work is also a hobby and way of life

Disadvantages
1) spend a lot of time on my feet,
2) constantly asked 'what oils can I use for....'
3) I spend too much money buying essential oils and books on essential oils.

Advantages:
I have a good reputation in my field.
I'm often asked to consult on cases beyond my area which broadens the networking.
Pay is pretty good.

Disadvantages:
Some Managers want me available 24/7.
Most 'problems' are never solved. They're just quick fixes because solutions would require investment of time; energy; commitment and money and these days nobody can plan ahead due to constantly threatened budget cuts.

Working as an engineer in the space program had its exciting times. I got to work with some interesting people. I had a fantastic, intelligent staff. The main disadvantage was having some government employees as clients.

Advantages I get to meet a lot of sweet people. I made pasta with a 92 year old Italian lady. I did my 1st yoga class with an 80 year old woman.

The disadvantages are I see a lot of death.

I was bored and I googled myself one day and my name came up on a few people's obituaries

There are a lot of jobs in my profession, but there is also a lot of competition. Disadvantage is that I am taken for granted, not really valued. And no options for career development .

I'm a brine taster over at the pickle factory. I get all the pickles I can eat but I really can't taste anything anymore.

It pays fairly well. I am actually able to build a retirement fund.

But it's mentally draining and stressful and lay-offs always seem to be around the corner.

I work for myself:

ADVANTAGES: I only have to listen to the guy in the mirror....

DISADVANTAGES: Sometimes he is right....

I’m just married.. the disadvantage is all the nagging i guess (his not mine) 😏

Retired advantage I dont have to go to work!

Advantages: People get their goods in a timely manner. I also get a solid paycheck.
Disadvantages: 12 hour days. Dealing whit crybaby truck drivers all day. Boredom.

The advantage is only so much is demanded of me. It's relatively mindless. The disadvantage is the low pay.

Advantages are being able to sleep in. Go to the store on a Monday morning. Taking a vacation whenever I want to. I am retired.

The disadvantages are no paycheck and not having people at work to talk to daily.

I have the knowledge to build alot of things.

I cant wear a cape when im standing on the roof.😔

The advantage is that if you screen your tenants for problematic histories, the properties practically run themselves.

Until they don't.

as worker can get job easily , salary is low as per market price

Advantages: easy work which pays well
Disadvantages: very very few female colleagues
