Pong in B&W in the entry lobby of some store, forget the name of the store now though, definitely in the early 70's, maybe 72 or 73, was 10 cents to play...

Space Invaders.

I pestered my dad for the ten pence coin.

He finally relented.

And I was so disappointed with my experience. It wasn't the zappy thrill that had been promised.

I should have spent the money on sweets instead.

I don’t remember, since I’ve been playing video games for as long as I can remember. If I had to guess, it would be Super Mario World for the SNES.

Mario 64. I was amazed by the game
pride49 · 31-35, M
@pikminboy I was amazed by the vid where someone got 200 stars. And they jumped all over the map
pikminboy · 31-35, M

Some kind of tennis game on my Sinclair ZX81

@michaela2001 We had one of those when I was a kid, my Grandfather paid $500 for it, the touchpad gave out after a month, the store wouldn't take it back, so my Grandfather staged a boycott of the store with all his techie network, the store went out of business within six weeks. My Grandfather being an electronics engineer took it apart and discovered cracked ICs and bad soldering, which is most likely why they didn't last long on the market.

@NativePortlander1970 I bought an add on keyboard for it. It was a very easy job to open the ZX81 & fit it into this full sized keyboard, along with its 16k memory. The longest job was putting all the stickers on the keys. I believe it was one of these.
@michaela2001 Looks good
