@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout right?!?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
No cause I don’t need one. I’ve never heard of such a test for anyone who has had the flu or a cold, why are they shoving a swab up people’s sinuses now?

@Khenpal1 What was all that shoving swabs up the nose business all about then?
Khenpal1 · M
@cherokeepatti results came within minutes. The other tests min 2h, but in many cases a day and its valid in airports
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Khenpal1 Just like a strep test then. Will the medical establishment ever come out and say it was not necessary to poke people in the sinuses with a long swab and those tests were very unreliable? It was just another way for China to make money off of this because that’s where most of those test kits (and masks) were manufactured.
saragoodtimes · F
my husband farts at least twice a day. figure as long as I can smell it I'm safe
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@saragoodtimes that hurts!
saragoodtimes · F
@samueltyler2 wasn't aimed at you
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@saragoodtimes wow, another choice of words, or should I say a play on words? the wind came my way!

I had to before I could visit my Mom in physical rehab, but I will never be bullied into getting the clot shot.

When we got back from my nephew’s wedding in Iowa, we waited a few days and took a COVID test before visiting my 90 year old mother-in-law at the assisted living facility. Nobody required it of us, but we wanted to be safe as her immune system is weakened by Multiple Myeloma and other factors (we didn’t want to put her at further risk).
4meAndyou · F
Yes. During covid I was required to have a test before I could go inside the hospital and have an x-ray. Simple and easy. Quick and painless.
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@4meAndyou
I've had the test several times.
How painless it is depends on how far up your nostrils the nurse sticks the swab.
I thought one of them went up into my sinus cavities. Not excruciating, but definitely not fun. 😖

@Thinkerbell Well...sadists do abound among the medical profession...sad to say.

No I'm to scared they will pull a big booger out 😔
ExtremeNext · 36-40
@Nimbus 😌

@ExtremeNext I suddenly feel sorry for people who conduct those tests. 😱
ExtremeNext · 36-40
@SW-User I know what about the real long boogers that just go on for ever and ever
Khenpal1 · M
Many times. Even if you are vaccinated , its still required many places.

SW-User
No. Because I’ve had no reason to get tested. I haven’t gotten sick since social distancing began.
MissTaken · 36-40, F
Nope just the 2 vaccine jabs 🙂
RubySoo · 56-60, F
I work in a school so im requested to do them twice a week.
SexyLesGirl13 · F
COVID 19 DOESN'T EXIST. WHY WOULD I?
Nimbus · M
SexyLesGirl13 · F
@Nimbus It has never been isolated. where is it? haha
Kowabunga · 51-55, M
As much as I’m dubious about a lot of the figures etc, it or something does certainly exist as I know a few people who have had it, and it certainly isn’t a common cold @SexyLesGirl13

I did once last year. A friend of mine waiting in line to get his test.
It took 30 minutes for him decide to leave even though he sign the papers.
Then the next day he got a phone call claims he Had Covid and he didn't get tested for it

I have twice now
OldBrit · 61-69, M
I do them twice a week currently.
Because if I might have Covid-19 but be asymptomatic which is a known characteristic of the virus. Given I regularly attend meetings in my local area and see my friends and family I wouldn't want to be spreading the virus around. So I test to then isolate if I'm positive.

@samueltyler2 that's the government advice. And I'm regularly mixing so makes sense.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@OldBrit for everyone? Wow, that is aggressive
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@samueltyler2 Hardly anyone is bothering which probably explains our 40,000 cases a day rising at 10% a week
PTCdresser57 · 61-69, M
Once before being vaccinated because I was out in the public and care for my elderly inlaws with poor health.
Myzery · 41-45, F
No, because I haven't had a reason to since they were made.
Lilymoon · F
No and I'm vaccinated now.

@DeluxedEdition your head must feel like it’s going to explode getting tested every day
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Jenny1234 when I got tested the first time it was the nasopharyngeal but after that they stopped doing those. They’re too invasive and broke a lot of peoples mucous membranes
They switched to a swab i just take it and swirl it around my nose a little and place the solution on it and it will read negative or positive in about 10 minutes. Sometimes I do the blood prick test. It’s like getting pricked for diabetes. It’s not so bad. If it were the long one I would definitely be complaining 🤣🤣🤣
It’s just annoying because it delays the shifts and report.
Every shift is about 10 minutes late because of it. And it’s just annoying because it’s a process more less but it isn’t painful (thankfully lol)

Yes had a test, the test was the guy with the locker next to mine kept coming to work after testing positive and nobody got sick, not even myself after being well within a 2 meter radius of him every day for the entire 14 days that he should have quarantined lol
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Yes.

SW-User
Two this week, I’m in isolation until Sunday. Both negative but I’ve been around someone that’s had it. Fingers crossed I don’t get it.
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
I had one last December because someone at my office got COVID. Everyone tested tested negative
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
If the tester looked like that, I would be inclined to get a test more readily.
Nimbus · M
@JimboSaturn lol,

@Nimbus Rough guess 20 or 30. I work in a rehab center and the administration has been vigilant along with the governor about. We have not had one sick patient with Covid 👍
