I do them twice a week currently.
Because if I might have Covid-19 but be asymptomatic which is a known characteristic of the virus. Given I regularly attend meetings in my local area and see my friends and family I wouldn't want to be spreading the virus around. So I test to then isolate if I'm positive.

@OldBrit have you taken the vaccine? Wear a mask?
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@samueltyler2 double jabbed, waiting on my booster but not due until later in November. Had flu jab.
I normally wear a mask in indoor crowded spaces as a courtesy to others as they do little to stop the wearer catching it but reduce spread from those infected. But obviously doing my regular testing it's unlikely I'm infected when out and about

@OldBrit so why do you get regulary tested as well? Is that the way it is happening the every one?
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@samueltyler2 that's the government advice. And I'm regularly mixing so makes sense.

@OldBrit for everyone? Wow, that is aggressive

@samueltyler2 Hardly anyone is bothering which probably explains our 40,000 cases a day rising at 10% a week
