Real men answer me ( those who know they’re real men others plz excuse)

You know what you want in life but due to circumstances you’re not what you want but still you make way to be the one you want , you think that makes you a bad person or a failure ?
Matt85 · 36-40, M
Always dream. We need dreams.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
You created your circumstances in your head. Successful people have a vision of life. They attack it, then jump in and enjoy the rewards.

If you don’t like your environment, change it. Life isn’t a lottery full of losing tickets. Successs is easy because most people quit on themselves. They quit on their goals. They quit on learning from others. They learn to quit and blame. That’s just a recipe for a downhill spiral.

Set goals and don’t let anyone get in the way, ever.

I am who I want to be and my life is how I want it to be!!! I have worked very hard to get here...
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
No. A real man accepts and lives up to his responsibilities...All of them..😷
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@helenS Then I dont need to tell you you will do fine on your own. But imagine what you could do with a like minded partner who always had your back and you had thiers..😷
helenS · 36-40, F
@whowasthatmaskedman Why oh why does everybody want a partner!?!
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@helenS You dont need to, these days a partner is optional.. And a good thing too..But I couldnt have done what I have without mine...😷
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
Not at all. It’s the refusal to quit, the determination to push through challenges that makes you a good person, more so than the end result in some circumstances.
sree251 · 41-45, M
You are not being clear. Can you rephrase your original post?

Do you mean that striving to be what you want despite obstacles in the way would make you a bad person? It wouldd epend on what is it you are striving for.
Mindfuladventurer · 36-40, M
@sree251 that’s the question is it bad ?
sree251 · 41-45, M
@Mindfuladventurer No way. My life is about living it without inner unhappiness. How can that be bad?

You seem to have some doubts about your own situation. Why don't you say what's bothering you? Is you are a real man, you would speak up instead of hiding it.
Really · 80-89, M
@Mindfuladventurer It is what it is.
WandererTony · 56-60, M
I read your post three times, but I’m still not sure about what exactly you are asking! 🫤
in10RjFox · M
I am exactly going through this in Life. I keep looking for newer avenues to emerge and only getting stronger and it would be a blast when I emerge for I have so much stuff accumulated all through my life. Others think I am a failure, but I never wanted to succeed as I am a pioneer heading towards setting a precedence.

It's the world that's hell bent on success.
Mindfuladventurer · 36-40, M
@in10RjFox so true. Keep going bro. Wish the best
th3r0n · 41-45, M
Our own hearts determine if we are a failure to ourselves, society determines whether we are seen as a failure or not, but the real determination is whether or not we hear "well done good and faithful servant" at the end

Very few of us are who we want to be and where we want to be, but these things pass away
exchrist · 31-35
I think it defined you as mature.
Mordechai · 31-35, M
That's life though. Nobodies where they thought they'd be years ago. If you're trying you're doing great. Everyone's life is complicated, when we look at people where we want to be we just see the result and not the process.
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
That's how everyone is treated by the rest of society - you're never 'good enough'.

@sree251 I've copped DV and abuse in a relationship so yes I know that happens?
Never give up your dreams and aspirations if you do give them up you will just exist. Keep striving, you will never get everything you want, but, you will accomplish a good portion of them.
Mindfuladventurer · 36-40, M
@Seniorsecurity why I don’t deserve the things I want. I sacrificed many things but still I face only disappointment
A man is someone who has put away foolish things, according to the bible.
come2gether · 46-50, M
So did a real man answer your question
Ah hope u find it.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
If you get what you want, you find new goals. Otherwise happiness fades to contentment and contentment fades to boredom.

Always something to do, always something to learn.

The fact that i haven't reached certain goals yet just means i have to keep working on them.
Really · 80-89, M
@ViciDraco You may eventually discover that it's not necessary to seek 'Always something to do, always something to learn'. Meantime, enjoy your determination.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@Really Don't get me wrong, sometimes the something to do is to relax. I'm not by any means an ambitious workaholic. Something to do doesn't have to be productive. Though I would counter that there is always something to learn. I can't imagine no longer learning anything.

The main thrust was that life doesn't have a finish line, so wherever you set your goals is arbitrary to begin with. Which in turn makes success or failure in life arbitrary as well.
Really · 80-89, M
@ViciDraco
life doesn't have a finish line
I guess you're a lot younger than I am. I can almost see it.

@RedBaron I am sorry you’re really boring here. You have to improvise bye
CestManan · 46-50, F
@Mindfuladventurer
are you genius ? Why did you hide the comment though if you’re are not real 😂

Comments get hidden by the "algorithm" and not the person posting it.
There's a bunch of censored words on here, apparently ANY synonym to "unintelligent" gets the comment hidden.

Even the one red baron used that rhymes with "pool".

Can't say much of anything on here.
