The United States will no longer be here a century from now.

The US are the strongest allies to many nations. In order for a country seriously interested in ruling the world to take over the world, they would have to get rid of the strongest ally first, so the US would become history.

Now, if you want to look at biblical prophecy, almost every nation will rise up against Israel. When they do, the US, (Israel's strongest ally,) will want to help, so who will the enemy want to get rid of first? The USA.

@IM5688 I'm afraid you're onto something. We seem intent on converting our society into something unsustainable, and there's a lot of desire towards a central government and ending the separate states. Once that happens and we have mob rule by democracy, the country will be unrecognizable.

for cultureal and demographic trends i tend to lean on the PEW research center. But 100 is too far away. No way to predict tech or economic trends That is just so far out....Might be able to toy with your question at say 25 years out.

@SubstantialKick I do think it’s an interesting thought exercise. obviously too many variables to predict with any level of anything even approaching any level of theorized accuracy, but it is an interesting question.
