If I will love life, will life love me back?

The Holiday musical Scrooge from the 1970's addresses this question
In the musical, The Ghost of Christmas Present sings, "I like life, life likes me."
Later, he declared that " I like pouring the wine and wine not"
So, I beg the question, did he really like life so it liked him back? Or did he pour himself a little bit too much wine?

This is my thought process in action.
And, yes, they do let me out in public without supervision.

Life has to be good to one in order for them to love it, it seems. I’ve never heard of it being the other way around.

Don't underestimate its effects, and when anyone says "nooooo you gotta try and be a ray of sunshine no matter where you are" tell them to write that statement on an eggplant and shove it up their a$$.... Wait and see if those eggs will sprout
