How often do you feel that you are unattractive? And people think you are self deprecating on purpose because they can't see what you are seeing..

Tbh I feel attractive & unattractive at the same time, like I can tell what my good features are and I can tell what I don't like and I'm fine with that. I usually don't complain to others about what I dislike about myself, unless it's something like my hair being bad one day or looking rough. Or making fun of something like my nose. So I don't think people can tell me I'm self deprecating, but whenever someone gives me a compliment I try to see from their perspective for one moment and even though I might not share that opinion I know everyone sees things differently so I accept it.

Pretty often. I go through times of not thinking about it, and times where I’m overwhelmed with the feeling of being disgusting. I don’t feel like I’m allowed to voice negative opinions about my looks because my feelings never get.. acknowledged, I guess? It feels like they get dismissed, and sometimes rudely.

I’m old. That tends to make one invisible. It’s admittedly a weird feeling when you’ve finally become comfortable in your own skin.

I can’t say it’s a feeling. I’m simply not attractive. I don’t hate myself for it though. It’s not a negative thing. But no one does get it when I say that, and I think it’s because they’re bothered by the idea of being unattractive, so they think it’s only natural that I’m being down on myself when it’s not negative at all when I say that I am.

Quite a lot lately. Although today I got up and thought I looked pretty hot. 😆 I think there's a correlation between when I've had a good time and I'm feeling attractive and when I'm feeling overworked and feel fuggly!

More often than I say aloud. Last few years of pain stuff messing with my ability to stay active has been a hit to my self-esteem. In the words of Aisling Bea, I feel fat-thin 😆🤭

Every day, since I grew old, and lost my good looks. I don’t know what others think, but I doubt they’d disagree with my assessment.

I kind of watch people's reactions and if I feel ignored or treated as something less in a way then it makes me feel unattractive. It's not always a bad thing though. I remember times when I was glad there was some more attractive friend with me and it was her who had to deal with all the creeps and annoying dudes hitting on her. 😅

I feel unattractive 100% of the time

I have bad days sometimes when I'm all about "beating up Queendragonfly" - mode and that's also when I am the most self conscious and harsh on my looks.

True that. I'm not those people that are just blessed with good looks and look like they can have a successful career with it. I'm just "typical" in the way I feel about my body for my age, although there are things I am working on changing to be the best version of myself. But even when I do reach my goals, I still won't have a field of f to give about other people's "beauty standards". Lol Those change with every person you meet.

Personally I only feel unattractive when I look in the mirror and notice the signs of getting older, but then I quickly adjust back to noticing that I look fine. I don't tell anyone how I feel about my looks one way or another.

100% of the time. There is no photo of me in the past 10 years that is even vaguely attractive, and I don't like what I see in the mirror. I'm not fishing for compliments when I tell people online that I'm not good looking. I'm just being real. I don't want to deceive anyone.

Mindset can be such a powerful thing. A aura of confidence & positivity can transform an otherwise ordinary looking person into someone who seems really good looking in person. However in your case, you are already attractive.
