If humans suddenly couldn’t lie at all, the advertising industry would likely collapse first.
A large part of advertising relies on exaggeration, emotional persuasion, and presenting products in the most flattering way rather than giving completely plain facts. Without the ability to stretch the truth, many ads would lose their impact and much of the industry’s current approach wouldn’t work.

@Easygoing1234 Agreed. With politicians an hour later. Religion depends on whether "Truth" is established by proven fact or honest belief..😷

All the ones I'm seeing mentioned here (politics, manufacturing, legal, etc) wouldn't go anywhere, they'd transform or even improve.
Of this that'd actually disappear: theatre and cinema. You can't act without "lying" about who you are and where you are.

Humanity.
It would be like everyone able to read each other's minds without the ability to block it.
No Industry, business, organization or group of people could function without the individuals going insane first. For even purposeful omission can be considered a lie.

Every legislature.
All politicians spend their entire career pandering. Campaign promises are simply the future lies that have yet to gestate.

None whatsoever.
The US has had two terms of a serial pathological liar who literally lies multiple times a day, and that wasn't enough to prevent him getting elected or re-elected.
People don't actually give a shit about lying, they'll just lie about the lying.

@SnickersDOM I don't know about none whatsoever. But I think you have s point here in that the obvious ones will be least affected because everyone already knows that they are lying and won't be able to pretend to care about truth anymore. It's just resolving a double negative.
