@Tumbleweed I do the same, I have an ocd to double and triple check everything after forgetting to lock the door one day to do errands, imagine my horror when the deadbolt didn't give resistance like it should have, luckily nothing was taken.

Yes. I tried to send a text to my son, and called him Honey Punkin, and told him I loved him, and accidentally sent the text to one of my male friends...who texted me back in some confusion...🤣🤣🤣

Ohhhh my gosh, yes!!! Embarrassing was not the word. Since then, I've always made double sure that I'm sending it to the right person.

One time years ago was having a text conversation with ex while i was at work. In middle my daughter paraprofessional texted me.

I clicked on last text message when i went to continue with ex 😳 thankfully she thought was funniest thing ever and stil teases me about it

But it was only embarrassing to the extent that what I said would make no sense at all to the person I sent it to, and I had to explain "whoops! Sent that to the wrong person!"

I might come across as a space cadet, but so far I have not misdirected any messages that resulted in an uncomfortable situation.

I have been the recipient of some misdirected messages too. But nothing "juicy" -- my friends are as boring as I am! 😄

I do it too often to recall instances.
I even put up embarrassing messages on my WhatsApp status instead of sending to the concerned, , and get calls from well wishers to take it down. 😀
