EDIT-Since I got a shocked reaction, I decided to explain. After surviving extreme child abuse, I didn't ever want to see the "dark side" of anyone ever again, and that included myself. So, I have worked very hard not to embrace any darkness. I am human. When I recover a memory from my childhood, I have to work through the emotions from that. Some are dak, but once I work through it, I let it go. I don't let it become me.

I have had issues in my marriage that have made me want to embrace anger because it was painful, but if I do allow myself to do this, it makes me physically sick, so I work very hard not to embrace any darkness. Maybe this better explains my original answer.🤷‍♀

"Dark side" generally refers to something negative, immoral, or hidden. Heck, we all have one of those. Don't kid yourself. Are you then evil, is it a flaw, or have you unconscious mind? Well, if you were evil you'd not necessary be on SW in the first place. Who hasn't got flaws? It's our very purpose to overcome those every day. We're all into wanting happiness. Would you do something that can't align to consciousness to achieve it? That's the state of being aware of oneself and the surrounding environment, encompassing subjective experiences, sensations, emotions, and thoughts. Are you sure that you're being yourself? Have you left it behind to further yourself? I know that there's no real happiness there. But yes, I have a dark side and I do know to keep it in chains. Is it sexy? Well, it's for sure dangerous too

At this point, I don't really have much of one. I try to be as friendly and kind to the world as I can.
