What do you like on your french toast?

Maple syrup is my go to.

There's a restaurant by me that has stuffed French toast with choices like Nutella and marscapone ; or mixed berries, sweet cream cheese and marscapone ; or bananas topped with Carmel pecan sauce. 🤤🤤🤤

I like plain old buttered syrup, I also put vanilla in my batter so it’s nice and sweet.

You can’t go wrong with maple syrup. There’s been times I’ve eaten it plain though.

I generally use up a full loaf. Leftovers freeze up nicely.
Eggs, milk, fresh nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and pepper.
As a meal, with pure maple syrup.
As a night time snack, with butter and powdered sugar.

I haven't had french toast in years, but I like maple syrup on it.

I used to eat it with powdered sugar only as a kid and all the other kids were disgusted because they only ate it with ketchup. 😆 Now I put on tomato chutney and grated cheese.

It has been many years since I had it, but I think I used maple syrup or cane syrup.

One place puts on confectioners sugar and butter, and that is enough.

Another place adds nothing, so I pour a little syrup. Yet only a little, since I have diabetes.

Maple syrup - I used to make it with Challah bread...haven't had it in years.

Syrup. I just had pancakes with syrup and butter though.

Butter and Rogers corn syrup. I have one with jam too usually to add variety.
