Ask anyone who is on the frontline, what it is like to go in day after day and see death, what it is like to tell someone that their loved one has to die alone, constantly watching patients to see if they can breathe, rolling them onto their stomachs just so they can help them breathe.
What you are suggesting, in what I can only describe as clinical paranoia, is that WHO are lying, doctors, nurses, carers are all lying, people who have had it are lying people who have lost loved ones are lying. Major universities and hospitals looking at vaccines and cures are lying.
I think this is a really disrespectful thing to say, especially when you are clearly not seeing what is happening in hospitals
They do in all ours ,small shops only allow four people in at a time, large supermarkets are keeping people down to a minimum....by social distancing is up to the people...@MrBrownstone
@SW-User I blame him for disbanding the government teams that could have dealt with this outbreak, and for his general lack of leadership. But I don't blame him for every one of the 100,000 deaths as there was no way a country as large and globally connected as the US wasn't going to have a significant number of cases. Like everyone else when this started, Trump was flying blind as we didn't have usable data yet. I definitely blame him for politicizing this whole thing and encouraging his mindless cult to conclude that wearing a mask is a violation of their civil liberties. He could have used his position to model helpful behavior, but as usual he's using this as just another excuse to get his base worked up and divide the country.
Who do you mean by "those that actually do know what they are talking about?" I'm not a doctor or an epidemiologist, but I trust Dr. Fauci and other medical professionals. I don't trust Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh who are not only total ignoramuses on this issue, but have an agenda at odds with promoting public health.
I get you too, you worship Trump as the Second Coming of Christ (or maybe the First Coming), so everything he does is automatically perfect, just because he's doing it. And yes, I'm aware that there are people on the left who feel the opposite. I tried to give a nuanced explanation of my views, but if anything short of total, mindless worship is unacceptable, there's nothing I can say to counter that.
@Harriet03 people are dying but how many from the virus ,they are not tak9oing into account prexixting conditions just lumping them all together ,you have to wonder why ? plus a whistle blower in the uk says they have had a cure since 2016 which means the chinese did nt make it, and company that has it is being funded largely by bill gates
@Harriet03 remember the bird flu way more ^people died world wide from that flu than this one so far, did we all quit work because of it? i have ask yourself what is really going on ,.🤔
They seem to have concluded that the former approach, which at least partially avoids the economic consequences, is better, as long as the healthcare system is not overwhelmed.
I want some of THEIR experts! Ours wear lab coats, likely took the Hippocratic oath - they're not allowed to care about anything else.
@MrBrownstone Well THERE'S a GOOD question ! IF these stupid cloth things had ANY affect on your wellbeing or POTENTIAL to NOT pick up any VIRAL infection, why haven't we been using these EVERY flu season ?
Could it possibly be that politicians couldn't care LESS ? They just WANT you to feel SAFE enough to return to work. Even if it isn't actually safe for you to do so ?
@MrBrownstone You're missing the point. They might prevent you from sneezing in somebody's face. But they don't protect you from possibly breathing it in.
@MartinII thats the big thing martin they are not seperating the deaths they are lumping them all together pre existing conditions are being ignored you have top ask yourself why ?

@english but avian flu isn't transmitted from human to human it is caught from poultry. Therefore in the UK we've never had any cases. We have obviously rapid human to human transmission of coronavirus so they are completely different problems with completely different management needs.
SW-User
@english I keep sharing this in the hope someone actually tries to understand what it tells you.
UK all cause death data plotted from latest ons dataset. Look at the comparison of 2020 with previous years.
I don't believe the actual virus is a hoax, but the way the reaction in every country of the world has been exactly the same (ie. tell people cash is bad, shut down businesses and forcibly eject people from jobs, etc.) is definitely not. That's controlled manipulation of whole populations. Just like there is not a 'coronavirus vaccine' otherwise governments would also be trying to force people to get it like they are forcing people to download contract-tracing apps.
@Pavona The Australian federal government handed basically full control about response to the pandemic to the states. Now each state is unwinding it's response differently. Unemployment is however a federal government problem.
@Pavona So now have each state having different rules for what people can do, each state has different rules for who can come in from other states, and it's really silly and stupid because all it's doing is further undermining trust in the government(s). We even have a national airline (Virgin) that's collapsed because air travel basically ceased with almost no domestic flights operating and hardly any international flights. Only stuff still really flying full capacity is all the air freight. Passenger air travel is effectively at less than 5 percent.
The thought has crossed my mind that it might be some kind of crazy social experiment. It's quite surreal to see everyone walking around in public (at least in my country) in face masks. Also so many of those masks are laughably ineffective and being worn by people in authority type positions that I can't help but wonder WTF ? On the other hand if it is an experiment then how did doctors the world over get duped into it ? Medical doctors are not gullible people and I don't think it's possible for all of them (or most of them) to be part of a conspiracy or whatever.
@Wraithorn the last news i read about doctors there were 500 or more who had spoken out against it two were officially silenced ,in other words threatened .
@Picklebobble2 see the latest news i read was there is whistle blower in the uk who says they have had a cure since 2016 ,on top of that this ready to go already full syringe carries a chemical that leave all women infertile , dont shoot the messenger

The virus is no hoax. But I do question that there is a strong motive to why the virus had been released and how it’s rapidly spread out through the planet and that same motive potentially could get people assuming or questioning wether it was a hoax.
Fact: The virus either escaped from a Wuhan lab or it didn't.
Fact: Evidence either existed or it did not exist that it did escape.
Fact: Given their history of cover-ups, it is not improbable that the Chinese govt would have covered up the evidence, had there been any.
Fact: you tried to dodge my question. 🤭
"I only go on about Trump because he is a danger to the planet, and unfortunately everything I point out about him is factual and is not an opinion."
Uh-huh... like the impression you try so strenuously to give that Trump's handling of the pandemic has been worse than anyone else's, for example. 😂 😂 😂
🙋🏼♂️nope. I think the government is laying off people so they can choose who to let back into the work force when this is all over. 😬💨✊ Huhum Donald Trump 2020
If someone at this point still runs around believing it all is just a hoax I am out of words. Think what you will, just make sure to keep social distancing to others, that way you won't risk the health of innocent people.
@Harriet03 It was a joke his username is English not my fault Mark Drakeford doesn't like the English we've been cracking jokes about one an other for hundreds of years all good fun.
