@Wraithorn That's the point ! Medical staff are wearing effective ones.
The ones generally on sale to the public possibly aren't.
They get you to wear them to give you the idea that you are now safe to return to work.

Somehow the twilight zone is leaking into reality or....well, I'm uncertain. 😏

@Wraithorn ALL governments were caught by surprise on this one.
They spent weeks trying to b/s everybody but as the illness and death toll grows, all we've had is belated information and contradictory advice from one day to the next.

You and i are trying to protect our loved ones. They just keep looking at the economic data !

If nothing happens soon, either the rates fall drastically or some sort of treatment is found. The tide will turn against those in charge and then you may see troops on the streets as martial law takes over from government.

Worst thing about all this is the distinct lack of planning for any civil disaster like this.

I can't agree that masks don't help, they have done tests and they do stop the droplets from reaching another person, not sure of the country, but one country I read , said masks were compulsory and they had no deaths....but since febuary so called experts have told us they are good and other experts have said they are no good....hard for us to know what's best.....@Picklebobble2

@Picklebobble2 This is the kind of thing that should get governments to start seriously thinking about spending less on goddamned weapons etc. and more on humanitarian things.

@Wraithorn The signs were there my friend. People keep quoting flu epidemic regularities; SARS ? and recent resurgence of measles ?
People get stupidly tribal over their politics and yet they forget that governments haven't cared less about their people for a long time.

@Platinum The point is if you don't know what you're dealing with you lockdown and restrict. Everybody's chirping on about 'Track and trace' and yet STILL the UK government is nowhere near the daily numbers it needs to make ANY system like that workable.
ALL this i think is a smokescreen.
It's a deadly disease. It's 'new'. There's no cure. There's no treatment. So until there is, you need to keep stringing people along to prevent panic and rejection of anything the government are trying (or not) to do.

It will gradually fade out and everything will be back to near normal by July or definitely August ...deaths are slowly going down more people going out, roads are busier, beaches and parks are busier there is a feeling that it's nearly over, people will still die but as the numbers get lower everything will open....I believe 1000s of people have had it , that don't know as they never got symptoms and more people than they know , may be immune to it.....@Picklebobble2

@Wraithorn It’s in the interests of epidemiologists to exaggerate the dangers and then take credit for tackling them.

@Wraithorn the last news i read about doctors there were 500 or more who had spoken out against it two were officially silenced ,in other words threatened .

@Picklebobble2 see the latest news i read was there is whistle blower in the uk who says they have had a cure since 2016 ,on top of that this ready to go already full syringe carries a chemical that leave all women infertile , dont shoot the messenger
