@MelanieUK The number of extra deaths is actually over 55,000. 36,000 plus associated with Covid-19 itself, the balance the result of cancellation of or delay to treatment of other illnesses.
@MelanieUK let me give you some prospective, remember THE bird flu more people died from that than this flu so far ,we did nt leave work and shut then,on top of that there is whistle blower in the uk who says they have had a cure since 20 16, people die from every year i not arguing that. yes its tragic the deaths

@english but avian flu isn't transmitted from human to human it is caught from poultry. Therefore in the UK we've never had any cases. We have obviously rapid human to human transmission of coronavirus so they are completely different problems with completely different management needs.
