Interesting question. Since the democrats have clearly shown they are the party of open borders, fentanyl overdoes, cashless bail, racist policies and high taxes, I'd vote for my dog over any democrat. So IF Trump is not on the ballot, I'd vote for the Republican who comes closest to his policies.
My dog would have to be a write in and why waste a vote?

@carpediem You are correct in that if it were a choice between her and Biden,Id pick her.Id vote for a metal chair over Biden. But if you're talking about write-in candidates, why not go with Ron Desantis? In a perfect world,he'd be my choice for candidate over anybody-yes,even Trump.
carpediem · 61-69, M
@DavidT8899 Because you'd split the conservative vote between DeSantis and someone else against the liberal. Been there, done that. As I mentioned, there can't be another left wing clown at 1600 for another 4 years. So eventually, whomever the Republican nominee is needs to be supported by 100% of Republicans or we'll wind up with the same crap we have now.
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@carpediem Id agree with that .Now if there was only some way to counteract the cheating that you KNOW is going to occur.
ron122 · 41-45, M
I will vote Republican. I don't care who it is as long as we get this current clown show out of office.

Considering that Trump exists as a politician solely because a hardcore 30% of the country couldn't stand seeing a black man being president for 8 years, I very much doubt they'll rally under a woman.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Musicman The Democrats wouldn't vote for a Republican, man or woman, just like a Republican wouldn't do otherwise. If, as you say, more people would vote for Republicans than Democrats, the simple mathematic would suggest that it's the Republicans that didn't vote her enough, don't you think?
Lucia · 36-40, T
Reading through these and seeing how people hate the other side, and everything they stand for, it just makes me think... Don't people know that if they think their side is always all right, and the other side is always all wrong - that someone must be manipulating and lying to them?
I really wish people would take a moment to listen to the worries of the other side, before considering them idiots.
And this goes for both sides.

@LeopoldBloom I am basing worry on the loudest people because they, currently, pose a threat to security, democracy and freedom.
LeopoldBloom · M
@Lucia How do they pose a threat to "security, democracy, and freedom?" There aren't enough of them to pose a direct threat, and since there are extremists on both sides, they'll spend a lot of energy fighting each other.
It is possible that violent Trump supporters might attack selected polling places in Atlanta and Detroit in an effort to stop Black voters from voting, with the goal of flipping those states, but since they tend to broadcast their intentions, that allows law enforcement to prepare for them.

@LeopoldBloom The attack on the capitol was also warned well in advance.

No, I would write in Trump. Nikki Haley is bought and paid for.
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@TexChik you’ve got it 👍
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
Yes, id vote for a dead rat before any Democrat
Hanginginthere · 31-35, M
@Patriot96 😂
OldGrandDad · M
You must be talking ballot for the presidency and not the primaries. Both will be on the primary ballots and I would likely vote for Haley regardless of whether Trump is on the ballot. I'm a staunch Republican. But I don't want another circus and his shenanigans.
acpguy · C
I would write him in just to piss off the liberal socialists that are either to brainwashed or do not understand our country is going to hell if we have one more term of a liberal or RINO in office.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
I'm not really a Trump supported so much as I'm a Biden opposer! I'll probably just go back to voting Libertarian like before.
UnderLockDown · M
NO FUCKING WAY!!!
She would be disaster! She does not have our best interest at heart, she is a fake Republican.

@BizSuitStacy See more lies, it's not race and I've never been a liberal. You'll just believe any ultra conservative lie won't you?
Bet you believe the election was rigged too
Trump has already had his chance Biden and he ignored the numbers and continues to ignore the numbers... blaming inner cities, when inner cities actually voted more for him in 2020 than 2016... it was the suburbs and women that went more against him.

Weird...you behave exactly like one. Maybe you should switch parties.
Please...explain the "lies"
Is Nimrata not associated with the WEF?
Did she not get rich via the MIL?
Did she not call for name verification?
Bet you believe the election was rigged too
So you believe Biden campaigned from his basement and got 81 million votes - the most ever? That shutting down the election count in 6 states where Trump had a huge lead was typical? There it is folks...the only "conservative" that believes the 2020 wasn't a fraud 👏

Maybe you should switch parties, or create your own since you don't believe in Republicans values of truth and conservative.
The Truth is Trump clearly lose a fair election to sleepy Joe of all people... because he ignored the moderators and continues to do so.
If the Republicans want a chance to win, they need to try something different, or they'll lose again, and Trump will be blaming a rigged system again, and wanting to run in 2028.

NO, she’s a uni party NECON, check her out, she’s for WAR WAR WAR
SinlessOnslaught · 26-30, M
I'll write his name in.
Musicman · 61-69, M
No. I would do a write in for Trump. The Democrats will not tell me who to vote for.
SpiritualMan · M
No, she is an establishment neocon.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Trump as a write-in
joe438 · 61-69, M
I’d have to since voting for Biden can’t happen. If only a sensible, moderate candidate would run. Nikki is a globalist and we can’t have that either.
And of course I vote in MA so Biden taking the state is assumed. Voting in MA is kind of useless.

@Lucia
I have a hard time thinking he started it like he is being charged with. There would have been proof.
Actually, that's not what Trump is charged with.
Trump involved himself in seven different conspiracies involving fake electors; and there are more specific criminal acts, spread out over months, all leading up to Jan 6.
For the curious mind, Jack Smith's Jan 6 indictment spells Trump's post election crimes out in excruciating detail:
https://www.justice.gov/storage/US_v_Trump_23_cr_257.pdf
William Barr says this:
[sep][sep][sep]
Trump’s lawyers have argued that his statements were protected under the First Amendment, a position that Barr, in his first interview since Trump’s third indictment, said was not a valid argument.
“As the indictment says, they are not attacking his First Amendment right. He can say whatever he wants, he can even lie. He can even tell people that the election was stolen when he knew better,” Barr said. “But that does not protect you from entering into a conspiracy.”

If Trump is not on the ballot, the GOP will frantically search for a Trump-like replacement. Haley is an old-style conservative in the mold of Bob Dole or John McCain, so she won't appeal to Trump's base even if she draws a few moderate suburban voters who otherwise would have voted for Biden over Trump.
I'm more concerned about stochastic violence if the Supreme Court disqualifies Trump under the 14th amendment. People are going to lose their minds. The Republicans in Congress could even initiate impeachment proceedings against any conservative justice who votes for disqualification, and they could succeed as the Democrats would go along with this.

I don’t look at it as parties, there have always been uniparty candidates so no I would not vote for a uniparty candidate.
Djac17 · 22-25, M
Aw hell naw. I’m voting for the Libertarian nominee if she’s the Republican nominee
Yes she is the best candidate left in the race of either party, so sure
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
There's only one candidate that's worthy of respect. It ain't sleepy Joe, and it ain't the orange shitgibbon.
