IF you are a Trump supporter...

and he somehow, for some reason is not on the ballot, would you vote for Nikki Haley if she were the Republican candidate?

I’d have to since voting for Biden can’t happen. If only a sensible, moderate candidate would run. Nikki is a globalist and we can’t have that either.

And of course I vote in MA so Biden taking the state is assumed. Voting in MA is kind of useless.

@joe438 Out of curiosity, what EXACTLY has Biden and his administration done that makes you believe it "can't happen?" Do you have any specifics you can share?
joe438 · 61-69, M
@Ynotisay Sure. Start with the open borders. That’s just just flat out lawless. He’s divisive and has no issue calling half of the country a danger to democracy. Watching the economy price food off of people’s tables and then proudly proclaiming it “Bidenomics”. Trump is a jack***, no question but Biden is not good for the country.

@joe438 As someone who is a bit scared of Trump and the things that happened in January 2020 - I think you make a fair point for why you (presumably) prefer him to Biden. Thank you for that.
joe438 · 61-69, M
@Lucia it’s not entirely clear what happened in January 2020. There were a lot of people doing a lot of futile things. We’re blaming it all on Trump, but I think there’s a lot of other people involved. Hopefully we’ll find out eventually.

@joe438 I have a hard time thinking he started it like he is being charged with. There would have been proof.

Could he have done more to stop it? Absolutely. Is that sufficient to pull him from the ballots? No I don't think so.

@Lucia
I have a hard time thinking he started it like he is being charged with. There would have been proof.
Actually, that's not what Trump is charged with.

Trump involved himself in seven different conspiracies involving fake electors; and there are more specific criminal acts, spread out over months, all leading up to Jan 6.

For the curious mind, Jack Smith's Jan 6 indictment spells Trump's post election crimes out in excruciating detail:

William Barr says this:

Trump’s lawyers have argued that his statements were protected under the First Amendment, a position that Barr, in his first interview since Trump’s third indictment, said was not a valid argument.

“As the indictment says, they are not attacking his First Amendment right. He can say whatever he wants, he can even lie. He can even tell people that the election was stolen when he knew better,” Barr said. “But that does not protect you from entering into a conspiracy.”
Not when you vote on the right side of History its not.

@Vin53 don’t misunderstand me – I am going to vote, and I’m not gonna vote for Biden. It’s just that Massachusetts going to Biden is pretty much a no-brainer.
