Is any one else just annoyed the impeachment crap?

Not a fan of trump, just think the house could come up with something better to do for the country than try and impeach trump every five seconds.
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
I am, I just finished reading the annotations from the conversation, the only mention of Biden was through Biden's son and the company he represents in the Ukraine. Trump asked the President of Ukraine to investigate the company, not Biden or his son, just the company. This is the company that was being investigated by the Ukraine government and Biden told him he wouldn't get US aid unless they fired the prosecutor, and Biden bragged about getting the prosecutor fired by threatening to withhold aid from the US. As far as I am concerned, Biden has no authority to shake down foreign governments for personal favors to protect his son and the company he works for. The dems have been talking impeachment to avoid meaningful work. Still the President has been handling the economy, foreign relations, etc., handily. The temper tantrums from the dems need to stop.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Lyinginwait Yeah the military is a good thing for most young guys. I had a buddy retire from the army and he got a job as a crew chief working for a company that the military subcontracts their work to. He is raking in the cash.
I had another buddy join for computer stuff but that crap started up again in the middle east and he had to go there as a ground pounder. He was a S.A.W. gunner I think. Never got to do the computer stuff. Poor guy is a mess now too. Got himself some of that P.T.S.D. . To bad too because he was real smart and really into computers.
I think the military may be good for my boys but I would die a thousand deaths if they had to go to any kind of war situation.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Roadsterrider I often wonder how many temper tantrums the Republicans would have if Obama called them rapists and murderers. And called their little old towns shotholes. 🤔
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@Zonuss I don't know, it will happen eventually, the dems haven't work out the Russia and race cards yet. Kavanaugh dealt pretty maturely with the rape accusations, no tantrum there. It seems that most of the claims that democrats make are just for headlines, no Russian collusion. No impeachment yet. No more Stormy Daniels, October surprises. Honestly, I would like to see some anger from the republicans, they just seem to soak up the accusations and fear fighting back.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Well maybe he should stop committing impeachable offenses every 5 minutes. They're just following his lead.
Lyinginwait · 31-35, F
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@anythingoes477 Then the house should have impeached him instead of talking about it for 3 years. If he is guilty of treason, he should be impeached and we would be watching the criminal trial by now. It seems simple to me, the house is the one to impeach if there is evidence to do so. They saw the evidence, if it is sufficient, they should impeach. it is their responsibility to do so. Put it out there for everyone to see. I try to research things I have an opinion on, I don't recall the President being under subpoena to testify and can't find anything to substantiate that in a quick search, there were a few times he was called to testify and claimed "executive privilege, but that is a different story. Still the responsibility would fall on the house to impeach, there is no executive privilege in an impeachment hearing. So, the answer is for the house to do what they are supposed to do if the president is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Roadsterrider
It seems simple to me, the house is the one to impeach
Oh my, wouldn't THAT be something?!
Send the whole bunch of 'em up the river!
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
This is like at least the fifth time I have heard this from someone that wasn't even a fan of his. Even my dad who is a die hard dem is sick of it.
Lyinginwait · 31-35, F
nedkelly · 61-69, M
Just imagine if the Democrats focused on policies for the next elections they have a chance, but the leaders of the democrats focus on trump, trump, trump every hour of every day - the democrats have just become boring
4meAndyou · F
@nedkelly It's not just boring. It shows stupidity and lack of foresight. People who are THAT dumb are not good choices as leaders of the free world.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@nedkelly Believe it or not, there are politicians who can do two things - sometimes even more! - at once. Just look at Trump - he can f*ck up the country nine ways to Sunday and still have time for Twitter and golf.
Budwick · 70-79, M
Everyone is annoyed with impeachment crap.
There's a handful of Trump haters here all jazzed about it.
But, the way I see it, nothing is different than before Nancy made her speech. It's still all yammering lies.

Vote on it!
Let's see if your boat floats.
If so, let's move on.
If not, STFU and let's move on.
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
I hear you, but it’s difficult when his own words indicate that he broke federal laws. Nancy Pelosi has been trying hard to discourage the calls for impeachment but just the things he’s actually admitted to are pretty bad.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Harmonium1923 you might get a fact source
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Harmonium1923
his own words indicate that he broke federal laws.
You may want to review 'his words' and / or federal law. Cuz your speculation is incorrect.

And, if you get your info from Schiff - it's worse than incorrect - it's libelous!
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
It's their obsession🤷‍♂️

Think of all the good things that could have been accomplished 😕
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@Adaydreambeliever so what's been diplomatic with the democrats actions🤔
I saw Schiff had his own story on the phone call

They think people are stupid.

They embarrass me
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
ahem... there are many who would make those accusations to those who seem entirely oblivious to how Trump has failed to deliver the things he has promised, how he lies, how embarrassing he is, (totally cringeworthy!) and how very much he further damages America and America's standing worldwide
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@Adaydreambeliever he's only hurt their feelings because they can't yake advantage of the u.s.
jackson55 · M
Three years, it's wearing thin.
BlueVeins · 22-25
While Trump does need impeached, the Democrats should know that doing it over Ukraine is both completely futile and completely self-sabatoguing.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SW-User of course you were. Run along.
SW-User
@MasterLee have a nice day :)
I wish you a good time
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SW-User you as well
4meAndyou · F
Is anyone else astonished that they are pulling this stupid stunt 13 months before the next election, which could, potentially, cause Trump to simply be voted out of office if that is the will of the people?

Perhaps they, (the wealthy backers of the Congressional Members doing this), want to attempt to GUARANTEE that Trump won't be re-elected, thus disenfranchising those who might wish to elect Trump for a second term.

I am VERY astonished. In 13 months the American people can decide whether or not they want him to continue to be our President. What the a$$ tissues in Congress are trying to do is to disenfranchise the voters and the vote of 2016, remove it and remake that election and the next. Nothing else will satisfy their donors.

Totalitarianism and removing government OF the people, BY the people and FOR the people is just not going to fly with most of us. Instead, these a$$ tissues in Congress believe it is just okay to allow a few wealthy donors to decide who should rule our country. Like the a$$ tissues they are, they will continue sucking up to their a-hole donors until they break apart and their donors end up with some very nasty stuff on their hands.
abe182 · 46-50, M
@4meAndyou almost smells like a coup 🤔
4meAndyou · F
@abe182 It smells like the a$$es of wealthy communists who are funding it.
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@4meAndyou It appears that the only way they can win an election is by character assassination or dis information.
Flunked Social Studies, huh? One of the primary functions of the House is Judicial Oversight. What you're sick of is their job. Why it seems unusual for you---and others--that this House is doing their jobs is that for 12 years when the House was republican controlled they never did ANYTHING. Not oversight...not creating jobs bills........nothing. For the first time in 12 years the House is functioning as the Constitution says it should.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@anythingoes477 You mean SCOTUS judges can do whatever they want without coming under scrutiny?
@sunsporter1649 I've never heard of any of them calling a Soviet country's leader to ask him for help in committing treason... have you?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@anythingoes477 But Senators are allowed to, eh?

My word, this topic would be so different if some people actually had some sound info, to go on. It really is a shame how intellect has taken a dive. No more logical thinking processes and some folks will never rule or control the ones that do possess these skills. Some folks need to band together and start a class action suit to get their education money back. At least you could start to live a productive life.🤔
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Dainbramadge America did used to be as you described. Sadly I see it as corrupted now.. Its not for lack of good people.. Just for lack of good people in charge.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@whowasthatmaskedman I am hoping that some form of natural selection will have an influence on that and make it better.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Dainbramadge Maybe.. But lets not forget the $23 Trillion Americans owe the world. While Uncle Sam was king of the hill everyone was too afraid or polite to cash those IOUs. But thats not going to be true for much longer.. Thats approaching $70,000 for every man , woman and child. An impossible debt burden to lift and make a nation function.
SW-User
I’d rather not see impeachment, because I think it would be too damaging to an already fractured country. However, I think Trump may have finally done something stupid enough to make it inevitable.
SW-User
You can continue to use your Boolean lens and view the world in absolutes with black hats on the bad guys as you have predetermined and white hats on the good guys as you have also predetermined if that’s easier for you. The reality is that this country is deeply fractured, and we’re collectively at each other’s throats. There is plenty of blame to go around for that. That’s why I don’t want to see impeachment, because I think it would rip the fabric of this nation even further. Just realize that your absolutist mindset is not part of the solution. @MasterLee
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SW-User you do make a lot of assumptions
SW-User
@SW-User [c=#BF0000]He'll make it even worse, believe me 😂. He always does [/c]

Trump loses his temper. This is an impeachable offense!!!
abe182 · 46-50, M
Yesssssss! They are embarrassing the country
MasterLee · 56-60, M
They have no way to govern so this is all they have.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
It's a healthy sign the system works. Do some gardening and rearrange your dishes if you feel like you need a rest from reality.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@sunsporter1649 LMAO Showing how dumbassdumb "the base" is shows the education system needs to be overhauled.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@MarkPaul You must be among the first to be reeducated, since your lack of knowledge and logic are on display every day here
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@sunsporter1649 While you guzzle the Pennzoil and pretend you know what the words you recite actually mean. Are Tide pods next for you? I'll stick with the "reeducation," dummy.
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
The whole Ukrainian thing, has been a huge misunderstanding. Turns out he was ordering a new wife!! 🤷‍♀️
Harriet03 · 41-45, F

Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@Budwick Green with envy! 🤢
jackson55 · M
They should put a circus tent over the house because that's what it has become. One would think the house would have one or two other things on the agenda.
Sicarium · 46-50, M
The dems are behind in fundraising. That's really what this is all about.
Lyinginwait · 31-35, F
@Sicarium they have like a billion people running.
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@Lyinginwait And none of them are pulling in enough cash. They're getting trounced, hence the impeachment hysteria.
Lyinginwait · 31-35, F
@Sicarium not to meant they are trying to bring each other down at the same time. "Biden is racist!" Lol
What size silver platter should the Democrats order on Amazon To Hand Trump the Presidency
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@MarmeeMarch I agree. This is a huge gamble that will fail. Senate Republicans will vote party before country!!
@Harriet03 So I think I will have some posters made Like this:[image deleted]

@Tres13 yep
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
LOL they should have impeached the arsewipe within a week or so of his getting in.. if they couldn't do that then either assassinate him or just concentrate on making sure the idiot doesn't get in again next time.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Adaydreambeliever Plan C, followed by a ten year sentence in a federal prison sounds about right.
That's all they know
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Agreed. I think its just a stunt to peel off a few more voters and get more "bad news" about him out there. I almost feel sorry for the guy. He cant get out of his own way. A metaphor for modern America.
But the last thing the Democrats need is for Trump to be gone. The hatred against him will motivate a lot of people to vote for anyone else.
@whowasthatmaskedman It's VERY involved if you dig into it. Pence's brother owns the engine factory that makes 100% of every engine used in the Russian military--tanks, the whole deal....Obama placed trade restrictions on Russia after Crimea....those restrictions stopped the shipment of engines that Pence's brother made for Russia...if Hillary gets elected the trade restrictions likely will stand.

So Russia needs Trump to win.....now along comes Russian operative Manafort to push Pence onto the presidential ticket knowing if elected Pence and trump would lift trade restrictions (which trump did) and that would let the engines come into Russia again....and russian help to throw the election trump's way (which happened). In exchange for all of this....and entwined in all of it........is asbestos.

Illegal..cancer causing...banned in the U.S. asbestos........whose prime supplier left in the world just happens to be in.....you guessed it...Russia. Pence cuts a deal to help the Russians get asbestos back on the market in the U.S. Trump OK's that deal--if the Russians will name the asbestos after him. That is the hallmark of malignant narcissism.

Think that's a joke don't you? Check this out.....and the pic attached to the story.....and it gets more involved than this. Pence is even dirtier with Russia than trump is. trump is an unwitting fool for them. Pence knew exactly what he was doing.

https://www.asbestos.com/news/2018/07/11/russia-asbestos-trump/
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@anythingoes477 I particularly like your final comment and agree.. And thats what makes Pence dangerous. He knows exactly what he is doing. And I was aware of the asbestos issue..
Lyinginwait · 31-35, F
I think the dems are going about it in the wrong way. Investigate and go at it but wait until you have something concrete because to me it just makes the dems look like a bunch of loons considering they have been shouting impeach since he became president. Think about it. They make trump look normal. You make the crazy man look not so crazy anymore lol. I think them doing this is going to get him re elected then we will have 4 more years of them trying to impeach him lol
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Lyinginwait you are correct
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
It's not like they're going to succeed it's a Senate controlled by Republican party. They're just afraid he's gonna get relected

I think you should keep in mind that what we have been told is just an nth of what there is. And it's not "every five seconds". This is the first (read that again...FIRST) impeachment inquiry of trump.
raysam363 · 31-35, F
Yeah, but the thing about politicians is that their real job is to stay in office. If that means they ignore the job for which they were elected, so be it.
4meAndyou · F
@raysam363 I think we should carefully note the ones who shirk their duties to the people, and make sure they never get elected again.
raysam363 · 31-35, F
@4meAndyou I learned this phrase about politics long ago: "Get rid of all the bums! But not my bum!" Really explains why politicians keep getting re-elected.
I'm annoyed that it still hasn't happened, mostly, given the fact that I think itshould have happened, at the very latest, when he pulled the Barr stunt with the Mueller report.
Pfuzylogic · M
He is going to be removed from office.
It should have be done much sooner but criminals know how to use republicans.

@Thevy29 the obama administration for example

Nothing is going to happen to Trump. No impeachment, no jail. And in truth, enough people are stupid enough to probably elect him for a second term. But let people deal with their frustration how they need to... which is usually just complaining socially.
