Is any one else just annoyed the impeachment crap?

Not a fan of trump, just think the house could come up with something better to do for the country than try and impeach trump every five seconds.

Well maybe he should stop committing impeachable offenses every 5 minutes. They're just following his lead.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Graylight If they are impeachable offenses then why has he not been charged with anything?? Maybe because they are not impeachable offenses??
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Dainbramadge Wrong. The issue is much more complex. As is life,if you're not a conservative.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Graylight How is being wrong complex?? The left have been wrong on every attempt to impeach him so far. Otherwise wouldn't he have been impeached by now??
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Dainbramadge Because Presidents don't get charged with things, and because Pelosi had until this point refused to proceed with impeachment.

You can say it's all bullshit but there's pretty simple reasons they haven't tried to impeach him until now.
@Dainbramadge Just guessing........but you were in a coma during the weeks and weeks of Mueller report coverage..when it was said about every 4 minutes on [c=#BF0000]EVERY NEWS SOURCE ON THE PLANET[/c]...that the DOJ opinion of "a sitting prez cannot be indicted"..is the [c=#BF0000]ONLY REASON[/c] trump has not been indicted yet..right?

Think a minute...........wouldn't that still apply 2 months later??????????????????

For two months that has been the conversation non-stop and you're STILL wondering why he hasn't been indicted yet if there is evidence of a crime??? Your username is more than just a name, isn't it? It's right on the money.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@anythingoes477 Why did you feel the need to be an ass just because I nicely asked a question??? Oh wait I know. It's because lefties only have a certain amount of plays in their playbook and that is #3. Just a go to whenever you don't have a reasonable response.
If user names were anything close to a reflection of the user than why isn't your user name dumb ass??
So back to the question at hand. If a sitting president can't be indicted then why do the lefties keep trying to do so?? Wouldn't it stand to reason to stop beating the dead horse?
@Dainbramadge INDICTMENT is not the issue. FLAT OUT TREASON.....is. This is NOT a issue of trying to block an investigation--as illegal as that is. This is 20 notches up the ladder. This is a sitting prez using his position and office to commit treason by "giving aid to an enemy"---in exchange for throwing a U.S. election. No one is trying to indict him for this......this is flat out criminal and for constitutional reasons Trump has to be kicked out of office.

It's not a "leftie" issue--whatever that is. It's AMERICAN issue. Anyone who thinks simply because a person belongs to the party you vote for is above the law because he has an "R" after his name....and those that don't think so are the bad guys.......has zero idea of what being an American is.

There is no playbook either. Either you are an American who supports the laws of the land and the Constitution of America.......or apparently you are a Republican.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@anythingoes477 Wrong again. You are a typical lefty because you never tire of being wrong.
Accusing me of what you are doing seems to be play #4. You are just going down the line on these. You are just following what your party told you to.

Back to the issue at hand. If he is committing treason, like you claim, than why hasn't he been charged with treason? I have to assume a sitting president can be pursued for that right???

You didn't answer my very simple question of " If a sitting president can't be indited than why continue to attempt it "??
@Dainbramadge You don't want facts. Facts to a trumper is like garlic to a vampire. If you truly listened to facts and logic you'd not have voted for whom you did........and defend him like he's your bedmate. You want me to kill time explaining what every other person on the planet already knows...so you can blow it off. I have more to do that play footsie with a deplorable. See ya.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@anythingoes477 HA ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!! And the infamous play # 5 from the lefty playbook. " If you don't understand it than I can't explain it to you ". This one is my favorite. You are literally just going right up the line of plays. Are you going to #6 next and call me a Nazi???
Actually I was looking for something from you that resembled a fact and all you have are lame insults and a " Run and hide " attitude.
@Dainbramadge Trumps dick won't suck itself.........get at it.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@anythingoes477 What gives??? Back to play #3??? That's a bit lame even for a lefty.
well off you go then. Good luck with that whole treason thing and the next 12 indictment attempts even tho they are useless and you guys know it. Just keep giving it the college try. Maybe some how it will work on attempt #35.
@Dainbramadge You're too ignorant for words. Time to flush you away.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Dainbramadge THIS is priceless.anythingoes477 blocked me. A true accomplishment beings as I wasn't even being combative like she was. I was actually being pretty nice considering how insulting she was being pretty much right from the start.

@Graylight
Well maybe he should stop committing impeachable offenses every 5 minutes.
You know Gray - after a while all this bitching about lying all the time and committing impeachable offenses all the time - it gets old. We've been listening to the same old crap for what - 2 and a half years or more?

Put up or shut up. Impeach him, take the fucking vote.

But for the sake of all things holy, stop this never ending hate!
You guys are strangling the country to death!
No shit, it's been non stop every day since Nov 9th, 2016.
EVERY day - Trump did this or that - he will be impeached!

Not once in a while - but EVERY DAY, often several TIMES per day!
I might as well listen to a barking dog.
He would make as much sense as you.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Dainbramadge Awe Man!
You get all the blocks from assholes!
It's not fair!
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Budwick I really do wish she would have left me a PM calling me bad names tho. That would be another trophy. Funny part was I wasn't the one calling names or being indignant. Well, just the same, glad I wrote her name down so I could remember who it was. 🤡
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@anythingoes477 A sitting president can't be indicted.....if there was evidence they would have impeached. As a couple of responses have stated, "just do it", the evidence is there, they are on national news accusing the president of criminal offenses, either impeach or quit lying. If they evidence is there and they don't have the balls to do it, they need replaced, otherwise, there is no evidence and they are lying to cover their tantrum about not gaining the oval office in 2016.
@Roadsterrider It has nothing to do with "balls". It has everything to do with common sense. The Republican controlled Senate will allow trump to screw a baby on national TV on the capital steps and not say a word. Public opinion has to shift so Republicans in the Senate start acting like legislators and not stooges. Until then---nothing the House wants will happen. Moscow Mitch is sitting on 100+ bills right now that he won't even address...because they were written by Dems in the House. If he won't address a bill why go thru the motions for impeachment? Time will change the public's mind or not.......that is all this waiting on. Not balls. I don't think one spineless Repub in Congress even knows what a ball looks like anymore. Cruz, Graham and Moscow Mitch sure don't.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Roadsterrider That is what I thought was going on too. But of course ask one of these guys a simple question and all you get are insults.
Thanks.
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@anythingoes477 Their job is to do it, not consider success or failure. If they are sitting there looking at the evidence and not following the procedure to do it, they are in dereliction of their duty. The senate could squash it but that isn't up to congress to decide, they should proceed with whatever they have the evidence for and if they don't, then they should quit slandering the man and go back to work. As far as screwing a baby on the capitol steps, the psychologists call that transference and it has nothing to do with this conversation. I am a Trump supporter calling for impeachment. So the stereotype of his supporters not caring what he does is invalid for me at least.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Roadsterrider Why impeachment?
@Roadsterrider This last call has to go thru the FULL investigative procedure....including testimony from the CIA operations agent that monitored this call and blew the whistle. It's called "due process". "Due Process" is in stark contrasts to just hearing a rumor made up by an ultra, ultra right wing spin artist on a talk show and then everyone yells "throw her in prison"....so I get the confusion. But by rule of law.....there are steps to follow. The biggest is investigation...testimony on this...and if any other calls have been made to this same person or someone else in a communist country to support an already damaging case.

Impatience by Trump voters and actual, legal "justice" and judicial process is not the same thing. "Do it or else you all ain't got nuthin" is ridiculous.

After the "investigations"...come the actual call for Impeachment Articles. Then judicial vote by both Houses. What you and other trumpers want done in 12 minutes or else "the Dems aint got nuthin"....isn't even reality. 8th Social Studies students know more about Judaical process that that.
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@anythingoes477 If they have evidence, Pelosi shouldn't be on TV flapping her gums about what he has done, and the house should be doing the paperwork. I don't think anything is going to happen in 10 minutes, the dems are trying to convict him in the court of public opinion. Most of the uninformed voters I have talked to are quoting what Adam Schiff said the conversation was about without even reading the annotations from the actual conversation as provided by the people who witnessed it. I am pretty sure I can handle 8th grade social studies and I can usually hold up my end of a conversation without trying to insult someone's intelligence whether I agree with them or not.
@Roadsterrider Public opinion is exactly the point. Repubes in the Senate and the House gave their spines away in 2016.

They were elected by the same constituents that voted heavily for trump in those districts. The O-N-L-Y thing that matters to those up for re-election in congress in 2020 is winning. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. Fairness for the Americans they represent is off the table---because the GOP wants to take away most of what keeps their own constituency alive--and well. So no GOP senator cares about fairness. Or equality. Or minimum wages. Or food stamps or Medicare or Social Security. or education. Or Black Lung Disease....or anything...other than their own bank accounts. They care about---re-election. Re-elections mean more $$$$$$$$.

That said the GOP knows if they were actually to say wait a minute to what trump does everyday...there is the chance they won't get re-elected in their own districts. If they lose--they lose millions in NRA/Russian/lobby money in the form of "campaign donations". lol lol lol So NO GOP lawmaker will vote yes for impeachment.......UNTIL............. it is finally so clear that trump is indeed guilty of a laundry list of "high crimes and misdemeanors" that even the general public---even trump's own cult--- can't deny it anymore. Just like with Nixon.

So it ALL about public opinion...........based on what evidence is found out and presented to the public...just like Pelosi announced on national television. BTW you will recall she didn't annouce anything speculative. By the time she came on TV trump and Guillani had both had interviews where BOTH already confirmed the entire allegations of a call and what was said. That is why the full scope of the investigations were officially launched.
