Is any one else just annoyed the impeachment crap?

Not a fan of trump, just think the house could come up with something better to do for the country than try and impeach trump every five seconds.

My word, this topic would be so different if some people actually had some sound info, to go on. It really is a shame how intellect has taken a dive. No more logical thinking processes and some folks will never rule or control the ones that do possess these skills. Some folks need to band together and start a class action suit to get their education money back. At least you could start to live a productive life.🤔

@Oster1 I agree. Listening only to the blurb spouted by either side, instead of digging into the actual facts is the lazy way out..

@whowasthatmaskedman You are very wise, sir:)

@Oster1 I can only admire your good taste and excellent judgement. 😉

Thank you. I really wish all this junk wasn’t happening. It really scares me how our country is so divided. I just want everyone to be happy and successful. Why in the world do some disdain independent freedom and civil, natural and Constitutional individual rights? Believe me, I am fully aware of the reason. The whole idea of Government dependence and Marxist ideals has never been successful in the history of mankind. I for one, will be fighting back. I have had enough. When it’s all said and done, only the strong ones, will survive. Yes, that is just the natural order of things.@whowasthatmaskedman

@Oster1 It has sadly gotten so bad because the nation is as you say divided. Lincoln borrowed from the bible to state that a house divided against itself cannot stand. And there sadly is the truth of it. In the end, the ship will sink. Individuals will survive. But the idea of "America" as laid out in the Bill of Rights, the Constitution, The plaque at the base of the Statue of Liberty and in the words of the great orators will be consigned to the past. And as with other empires, it rotted out from the inside until it collapsed with very little pressure. I will miss America.

@whowasthatmaskedman Man, I hope not but you speak the truth. I pray every day for a sliver of resurgence. One hundred years of progressive ideals has absolutely done grave damage. Whether people wake up is your quess as well as mine. Our day is on the downside. Only our youth can prevent this and turn this great country of ours, around. We need to stand the course and try in a good receptive way to teach what our parents and elders taught us. The basic path to success and free independent living and respect for others. That America is the greatest country in the world. Many people have built her and we have given to the world like no other. This will be a challenge. As more history is stripped from education, loss of American culture and morals along with not uplifting families, I feel it will crumble. This was the progressive plan, all along. I pray the Good Lord will help us get back to loving this great Country that I believe He wanted us to have and blessed us with. I will continue to fight till the day I die because I know what it was like and am very thankful and appreciative of that gift. Thank you my friend. I have really enjoyed our discussion and I hope you have a wonderful weekend:)

@whowasthatmaskedman @Oster1 I must say these are some crazy comments. I see two well educated people having a very deep conversation about a very unsettling topic. A rare thing for S.W. . I felt obligated to put my two cents in.
It is a horrible blemish on the face of America the changes that some people want to intact here.
We can only hope that it is predominately a young person thing and eventually they will grow up to see what a wonderful place they live in.
America was an experiment. A successful one at that. I am still amazed at the incite that went into our constitution and bill of rights 243 years ago.
It is such a shame that more people can't see and appreciate what they have.
I am also surprised at how many people from other countries pay attention to our politics. They do this because America is the hub of the world. The greatest country and the one that sets the standards for all the others.
Just a few thoughts I had while reading your comments.
Oster1 · M
@Dainbramadge You sir, are the third well educated and American loving patriot to join this conversation. I am impressed with your intellect and love for our country. You just made my morning and I sincerely appreciate your very kind words. Us older guys, do have to try to teach our youth on American values, like we were taught. Even if we don’t get a warm reception, maybe we gave them food for thought. After all we have lived through this and I think we can add much value to to the conversation. Many great men and women gave their lives for the ideals we are trying to convey. Yes, I have strong hopes for the youth of America. The time has come for them to carry Ms. Liberty’s torch. I truly hope they do. My wish is for an open dialog between the generations. Together, we may bring this nation back to the ideals, it so graciously stands for. Once again, I so much appreciate your comments and thank you. I sure hope that you too, will have a great weekend:)
Oster1 · M
@Dainbramadge Just to reiterate again, I could not agree more with all the points, you made:)
Oster1 · M
@whowasthatmaskedman I could not agree more with everything you said. My only wish is that these comments are seen by many. I know it is only our opinion but at least we care and are only doing our part to “right the ship” :-)
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Oster1 Thank you sir. Some times I don't get my true point across because it will get all scrambled in my head.
I am very happy that we are on the same page.
S.W. can be mostly doom and gloom especially about politics and it doesn't take long before you feel out numbered. Not that I have a complex about my views I just believe in them and can't understand why others don't as well.
America is the greatest in the world and it is so sad to see so many that live here talk crap about it so you can imagine my joy to find these comments.
All is not lost. I have three kids that all think like I do. Hopefully that will make a positive influence in years to come.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Dainbramadge Hey now I love that saying. " Right the ship ". It paints an accurate picture of what need to happen.
Oster1 · M
@Dainbramadge Thank you for being such a great Dad. Believe me, you got your point across beautifully. I wish that more felt the way that you do:)
Oster1 · M
@Dainbramadge You sir, are so kind and very wise.......I love and respect that! :)
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Oster1 Thank you. :-) . I also have to add that the way you guys were sharing your thoughts wasn't in any way to sound like you were just attacking the other side. So I think you are right about these comments might actually enlighten someone who reads them.
Normally I tend to get into disagreements that quickly turn into insults. Maybe it is me but I think it is more of the question I choose to answer. So this was refreshing.
Oster1 · M
@Dainbramadge You were very keen to pick up on that. It really does no good to attack the other side, even if they do. We all just stated our points in a manner to not insult but to open the door to mature conversation and dialog. That is all we want, regardless of who’s right or wrong. We just wanted to talk and share our views:)
Oster1 · M
@Dainbramadge And once again, thank you for being a part of this synergy:)
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Dainbramadge America did used to be as you described. Sadly I see it as corrupted now.. Its not for lack of good people.. Just for lack of good people in charge.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@whowasthatmaskedman I am hoping that some form of natural selection will have an influence on that and make it better.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Dainbramadge Maybe.. But lets not forget the $23 Trillion Americans owe the world. While Uncle Sam was king of the hill everyone was too afraid or polite to cash those IOUs. But thats not going to be true for much longer.. Thats approaching $70,000 for every man , woman and child. An impossible debt burden to lift and make a nation function.
