I agree the words are so much of the song or the music. One exception I can think of is Santana doing "Oye Como Va" but Carlos Santana is so fucking good on guitar that it speaks to all in any language. He is one of the very best guitarists to ever grace us with his music.

Absolutely. I was an opera singer. The first songs I learned were in Latin, Sicilian, Spanish, Turkish, German and French. I would have these days and sometimes I still do where I just listen to music in different languages all day long and rock out to it.
