What were you doing in the eighties?

I spent most of it in school, working at weekends.
Listening to music watching brat pack movies.
Drinking underage lol 😆

No worries, living a carefree life 🥰

I was working as a waiter and hating every minute of it. But I was in love with a beautiful wonderful woman 12 years younger than me and my poetry and stories were being published in university literary magazine and I had a play produced locally. I suppose it was a good time in my life but what I remember most was how I hated waiting tables.

I was a manager at a local hardware store, in a small rural town. My son could walk across the field from home and be at my work if he needed me. After I left there, I began to volunteer at a drug rehabilitation place, isolated on a rural road. It was for mothers with young children. After they decided to move, I transferred over to the local homeless shelter, and began to work there.

Absolutely nothing as I didn’t arrive in the world until 1990 🙂🐼🥢

working but every spare minuet was spent on my bike. Always looked forward to the weekends. 40+ bikers all off somewhere for fun. The good old days

Finished my B. Eng degree in 81 and then joined the Army as a medic, which had nothing to do with my degree. Spent most of the 80's bouncing from one base to another somewhere in the World...

Enjoying the break dance culture, listening to my cousin's ghetto blaster. We were the Pepsi generation.

Going to school being a kid let me at home with mom and dad. Teenager throughout most of the 80s. I turn 10 in October 1983.

Starting my career in the space program, learning to be a father, adjusting to life 800 miles from home

I tried to catch Rooby the crow but I failed miserably.
(Rooby was a thief, he had stolen a silver spoon in our kitchen.)

Trying really hard to avoid growing a mullet for most of it. Except for 1 year in middle school 88-88 i succeded.

I was a punk rocker. Ha ha.
Gym in the morning, then school,then music at night.
Sundays were for sleeping.

Nothing in the first half of it, I wasn't born until late 1986.

I was at university, then working in labs in London and Germany

College. Guard. Scrambling to make a living. Writing my first novel.

I was just born then.. so i guess i was crying a lot.. so i was told anyway

Graduating high school, moving out on my own, marrying my first husband, moving to another state, getting the hell beat out of me daily, getting a divorce. That was my 80’s.

Spent way too much time in arcades and getting bullied in school

Watching football and drinking beer and chasing women then got married spoiling it all

I was born and started school in the late 80’s

High school and college. Worked at my family's roller rink, where I became a DJ. Worked in radio briefly right out of college, then TV, where I've been ever since.
