I get the flu vaccine so maybe that has something to do with it?
@DancesWithWolves God gave us doctors and other trained people for us to lean on when needed.

HumanEarth · F
Being very active, live outdoors, don't listen to doctors, never get a vaccine, don't eat process foods, don't eat food that comes in a box, don't at fast food restaurants, stay away from stuff like Coke and Pepsi (they are loaded full of chemicals), don't let doctors talk into taking drugs and do more harm then good (They are nothing more then legal drug dealers)

I don't think I can just take all the credit like that for my health.

But, I don't put meds, drugs or supplements in my body. I'm still a pure blood and I was raised in a wholesome environment and in a way that my natural immune system was made strong. Exercise, fresh air and sunshine I'm sure helps. Genes play a part too, me thinks.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M

Avoid crowds and modern vaccines. and remember doctors are business people who need patients to make a living.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
I exercise every day. No days off.

Age, laziness and obesity are the real killers.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
I intermittent fast but I can't really say that is the reason as I'm not a doctor. I eat way later usually between 3 to 7ish. I dunno if I'll always do it but I have done it for awhile. Haven't been sick for about a year and a half now.

I take creatine, multivitamin, omega and a strong probiotic. I don't really eat all the way clean either. I have an 80/20 rule that says mostly clean but some junk, I do it intentionally cos if I deny myself I'll eat way more. It seems to work at least only for me.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Herrtage. It's all in the genes.

I really can't say it's anything else.

I definitely don't eat healthy.
I do exercise some, yet not a lot.
Yet I do smoke cigarillos now, and cigarettes for decades.
I do drink some yet never a lot.

I never missed a day of school throughout grade school and junior high. Got awards for it. And I do believe that I was the most reliable person that always showed up for work. They had me working by myself even because of that.

I only see a doctor when it's required for work or something.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
There is nothing "secret" about it.

There is plenty of published advice available on looking after yourself, and from genuine medical people not antisocial-media "celebrities", anti-health campaigners including those saying "avoid doctors, and the parasitical peddlers of things like "vapes" and junk-diet food.

It boils down to keeping mentally and physically active on a reasonably good diet, not smoking (baccy or nicotine vapour), drinking moderately and avoiding all so-called "recreational" drugs that are illegal in many countries anyway. Plus of course taking advantage of offered vaccinations and health-screening programmes.

The rest is down to luck! It won't necessarily stop you falling seriously ill but will at least reduce the chances.
Penny · 46-50, F
i wash my hands religiously the minute i get inside from going out EVERYTIME. I also use those antibacterial shopping cart wipes when they are available and im using a cart.

Essential oils. The slightest hint of a bug and I will use whichever oils I think best to treat it before it has a chance to cause a problem 🙂

good diet, sleep and stress free life

It has to be genes. Even our children never got sick and missed any school.
Thinkingdeeper · 36-40, M
Being active, hydrated and looking after yourself.
JoeXP · 56-60, M
Fresh air and exercise. Obviously I get the odd virus. I’ve had Covid twice, but I think good food, good exercise keeps the immunecsystem strong and I threw it off in a couple of days.
IDK the answer to this question....

But what I can share is that during the pandemic (when I had to wear a mask EVERYWHERE)... I never had so much as a sniffle....

And I have a suppressed immune system....
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
@Threepio Same ...I was always sick before COVID, well especially when I was a teacher aide. But when we began masking for COVID, I stayed masking even until this year. My sister has two immunocompromised diseases. I have not been ill in years now.
adrenochrome 😈
SleepingWithGhosts · 46-50, M
I have back/spine problems, but I wouldn't call that a sickness. I rarely get sick, just lucky I guess.
genes i guess....i don't exactly live an overly healthy lifestyle. in my 35 years at current job i've called in sick once
HumanEarth · F
Same, even when feeling just a little crappy, its a suck it up buttercup and go no matter what thing
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, FVIP
That is a good question
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
stay away from sick people, LOL. As a physician that was impossible!

Eat right and work out. Don't be a lard ass couch growth. That's the best thing you can do. Like they say an apple a day keeps the doctor away. I'd say running biking and lifting as well.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
I never go to a doctor. A wise man once told me the doctor's job is to find something wrong with you and when he does he will treat it and his treatment will make something else wrong and then he will try to treat that without ever actually fixing any of the things he thought were wrong.
GoFish ·
probably avoiding other people
