I don’t hide my gender though I understand why some of the younger women do with some of the messages they receive. I’m an older poster and occasionally some people have made rude comments about my age because they didn’t like my opinion about something.

Maybe to just be the voice of Reason without arousing age/gender biases.

I used to hide my age due to the creepy men but men still have a way of figuring out your gender by the things you post and will still bother you in messages so I just gave up. I live a stressful life so I like taking my anger out on them in private anyways.

I used to have an awesome roleplay partner. She admitted to me that she was a lot older than me after a couple years. She had an amazing kinky mind and loved to roleplay but she feared nobody would want to play with an old lady… and I mean old. I don't mind revealing my age or sex to anyone but there are others who don't want any pervs messaging them. At least it isn't like back in the late 90s or early 2000s when the pervs and annoying AOL chat room users would ask others "A/S/L?".
