Well if I wished everyone got what they wanted, I would be considered the worst person in human history as a result.

Better to wish everyone willing to understand everyone else, including their ugliness.

Hear my mom's voice again.
Eventually discovering there's a heaven and finding all my love ones there.
LadyGrace · 80-89
@GeretJan Friend, you don’t have to eventually discover if Heaven’s real. Jesus promised it in 1 John 5:13, if you have a Bible:

"These things have I written… that you may KNOW that you have eternal life."

And you’re wishing to see your loved ones again? His mercy and grace covers that, too. God put that wish in you. "He hath set eternity in their heart." Ecclesiastes 3:11

That ache for forever? That’s your soul remembering where it came from. And Jesus is the only One who can take you there.

If I thought for a second, His promises were wishy-washy at best, I sure wouldn't have followed Him for the last 53 years; not to be left guessing, upon my final breath. Eternity is far too long, to chance getting it wrong, in my humble, personal opinion.

Another thing about God's promises? They're for everyone, not just some. That's one of the many things I love about God.That's Him saying, 'You CAN count on Me. Just ask...and I will do it.' And that promise is in John 3:16 and 17. He turns no one away:

"He that comes unto Me, I shall in no wise cast out."

God is just that kind of Protector. He won't leave us unguarded, to face eterity, alone.

I'm so thankful Jesus loved me enough to show me where I'm going and how to get there, my final day, and that He left Heaven, just to make a way for you and I to get there.

Jesus already did the discovering. He died, He rose, and He said, 'I go to prepare a place for you, so that where I am, you may be also.' That’s not a guess OR a wish. That’s a promise found in John 14:2. And Jesus never breaks a promise. I can vouch for that.

If you want Heaven, you can have it. Right now. Just trust the One who built it. He's just a prayer away.

From the cross to the Throne, He never left us alone.

If I had one wish, it would be to end hunger and make sure every struggling family has food on their table.

@samueltyler2 I have some 19th-century math books, but only photocopies, and of course that's not the same.
By the way, my profile picture comes from one of those old books!

@MsSwan you need the collective consciousness of the human race to enlighten by a few thousand years
All cultures and ethnicities probably need to mesh together too in this process

All the religious people of the world follow the tenets of their religion rather than waging tribal warfare with other religions and recruitment/proselytizing foraging campaigns for new recruits.
