@bijouxbroussard My Dad loved his steaks well done. BUT I know from watching TV cooking shows the "experts" hate that concept. Always loved seeing Laila Ali on some cooking show and the host criticized her for cooking a steak well-done and she just looked at him and said, "This is the way Black people like it cooked," and enjoyed the steak.

@ChipmunkErnie Sounds right. That’s the way we grew up with them cooked in my family.

@bijouxbroussard I think the Jewish side of my family went for the well-done, the Gentile side more medium. Except for Prime Rib -- that was rare to medium rare for pretty much all of us.
