Most of them

I've had most of them. I miss the days of Fish N Chips in newspaper. One day I will try to duplicate my mothers Shepherd's Pie. It was practically a food group. I do love my beans on toast and cheese n cucumber sandwiches.
TexChik · F
Fish-N-Chips from a seafood restaurant. If I cook fish at home and we have potatoes, they are fried potatoes (taters) with onions, not French Fries (chips).
I think we have all made a roast or had one at home.
I have had homemade chicken pot pies here at home.
Jellied eels? I do not eat bait! I put it on a hook! 😂

Only fish and chips and shepherd's pie, at a restaurant ("Irish pub" in the US).
Yet the pie was white inside.
I had no clue what they rest even were before I saw your post. I had heard of a few, though. And about the beans. I do not even like beans for dinner.

100%.
"Game Pie" looks like Black Pudding slightly rearranged 😅
So much pastry and potato . . I've got indigestion just from looking at the pictures.
And much too much beige . . our young ones are encouraged by school to "eat the rainbow".

Chicken Tikka Masala and Sunday roast, without the Yorkshire pudding. I would make gluten-free tapioca-cheese rolls instead for a Sunday roast. They are like Yorkshire pudding but with added cheese.

I'm not English,however
(American) and we have different names for a few,but since it's basically the same food, I counted them in total.
You are never getting me to eat haggis, blood pudding, or jellied eels, however.😱

Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Banksy83 sorry old man sounds gross 🤮
Gingerbreadspice · F
I don’t eat fish or black pudding. I’ll try haggis if I was in Scotland but otherwise never tried it. All the others I have eaten.
pride49 · 31-35, M
@Gingerbreadspice Congealed blood does not sound appetizing
Gingerbreadspice · F
@pride49 You’re right.
AdaXI · T
@Gingerbreadspice @pride49 I don't mind a bit of black pud with a full English breakfast but I couldn't imagine eating a big slab of the stuff with mash potato🤢 Hahaha, that's just brutal😆

8, but not usually from scratch. I love original shepherds pie, made with lamb. in the US beef is the more common. Whenever we are in the UK, I have steak and kidney pie, my wife gags at the thought.
peterlee · M
Eaten all except the eels before I became diabetic.
Now just the full English!
Thankfully those eels are out because of the jelly.
Any chance of a white fish salad? Or octopus cooked in red wine?
Aubergine roast.
Grilled mushrooms with cottage cheese
Chicken tiki masala is ok if I have small potion of basmati rice or noodles.
Replace the chips with sweet potatoes.

Most of them, but then, I have spent most of my life in England. Beef Wellington is 😋😀, but really only as a special treat or celebration.
meggie · F
@supersnipe yes it's probably the most expensive pictured meal
SinlessOnslaught · M
Chicken tikka masala. Other than that I've never been to the Shire.
lissah · 36-40, F
3. Fish and chips, roast, and shepherds pie. I never heard of the others before.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
We do these regularly but I'm in the US.

BlobbyMcBlobface · 56-60, M
I've eaten everything except chicken and leek pie and jellied eels.
emmasfriend · 46-50, F
Seventeen.
I have not eaten Chicken Tikka Marsala at home, nor Jellied eels nor Bubble & Squeak.
When I make a Game Pie, it does not look like that !
The various meats are encased in pastry.

Wouldn’t bother with beef wellington at home and jellied eels are rather Victorian

British cuisine is very inedible. Spent a month in Africa with British chefs. Lost 30 pounds. Those chefs can screw up lettuce.
FloorGenAdm · 51-55, M
3 maybe 4...mighty fine! 😋
Cigarguy · M
2 fish and chips and shepherds pie
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
No wonder you Brits colonized as much of the world as you could... I wouldn't stay home either if that lot is all you had to eat. 😅
Monalisasmith86 · 41-45, F
