GM/Chevy - My Camaro check engine light came on after 3 miles. The car had a stack of service tickets and at 36,100 miles the transmission went...$3600 to repair, 36k warranty?...I called the zone office for help they said no...I said, I will never buy another GM product for as long as I live...that was in 1983...
@myotherlife It does, their customer service has been excellent so far. Since it’s local they’ll have to look their customers in the eyes and hear them.

While Dish Network bought the Block Buster's trademarks from bankruptcy sale.
But the one remaining store was a franchise before and still is, and still pays the franchise fees to Dish Network.
@nudistsueaz You are correct. But can blame ford for $75,000 pickup trucks because they quit making the Ranger. They weren’t as profitable as the bigger trucks and SUV’s. Why make $5,000 per unit when you can make $10 to $20,000 on a leather lined luxso cruiser ? GM did the same thing, discontinued the S10. The new ranger is a passenger vehicle. The back passenger compartment is too small to sit in, the 4’ bed is too small for almost anything. You want a real work truck with a 8’ bed ? You have to order those. $75 to $100,000 for a half ton pickup ? 84 month loans. $800 to $1000 payments. No thanks. They have done it to themselves.
@Iwillwait I had a warranty issue, called the district office/headquarters at the suggestion of the dealer. (World headquarters is about 40 miles from my house.) The fool put me on speaker phone and laughed at me with others in the office. Never again.
The company has gone belly up twice since that happened, first bought out by Mercedes, then Fiat. Good riddance to the lot of them.
On a more personal level, Nike, Adidas, etc, because my parents forced me to go non-stop shoe shopping until we have some shoes that fit and these companies simply didn't carry my foot width, so I've become loyal to New Balance on sneakers.
On a more generic level,
Wells Fargo: I'm pretty sure they're run by the mob, and they have consistently had employees scandals, where the employees went "rogue" and did some illegal stuff, hurting their customers, only for the company to get a slap on the wrist and then do the same exact thing again with different employees because it was very profitable for them as the punishment were soft as hell and they got to keep more than 90% of the illegally gained money.
TikTok: They illegally tracked their users and gave the information to China, so it's illegal spy network could track reporters and others they wanted to get tabs on, which I don't do anything that they would care about, but that's not cool.
UnitedHealth Group: Insurance that you can't use, as they're just deny your ability to use it (or so the rumors say, allegedly)
Last June was my first Pride month, the first time I cared about all the rainbow merchandise. But because Trump had told everybody to stop with the DEI stuff, for the first time in its history, the Target near me didn't have a single Pride themed item.
But also, I learned that they were also rolling back a lot of jobs, firing minorities all over the place.
So, I've cut ties with them, as well as CVS Pharmacy, because they do business with them.
