I went inside some place asking for a part time position and if there was any positions open. She told me about one and was explaining the role and then explaining the benefits of being employed at that place. She said they had tuition assistance here and that many high school seniors don’t know about this. So I assumed she was assuming I was still in high school 🤣🤣 It’s so weird because a lot of people actually think that about me. I’m gonna start taking advantage of it because I’m gonna be 25 in the spring and I’m gonna be going back to college and I just feel like I’m too old to be there 😭😭 When I do go back to college I’m just gonna keep my age a secret. if somebody asks how old I am I’m just going to change the subject because I don’t want to start lying and saying that I’m 18 😅 I feel like I’m too young to start lying about my age so I’m just not gonna say it

There was a couple of lovely things said my way today, but it was the wink for me. Just said a lot without saying a word.

I haven't talked with anyone so far but yesterday my sister called me a lovely brother for wishing her happy birthday.

Nobody said anything but one guy going into the diner smiled at my work. I was hired as the diner's contract gardener and I did my first shift this AM. The best thing I ever heard in years was 2 days ago when I asked for the job and the boss said YES.

An 8 year old girl at the bus stop with her mother showed me a toy she'd bought for her brother. She said her brother was 7 and he liked dinosaurs and her gift was a toy dinosaur inside a clear rubber ball. I spoke to her awhile and told her why I thought it was an excellent present for a boy who liked dinosaurs. She said, "I bet lots of people would like to talk to you, because you're so polite and kind."
Made my day.
