No, I am happy to share an occassional hand-rolled herbal one!
Morvoren · F
Yes, it stinks. It makes their breath stink and it’s a smell that attaches itself to anyone close by.
cigarettes killed my mom and when i see people smoking i always think what a horrible death they will suffer. i can't help it.

Yes - it’s a disgusting habit 🙂
SamHarris · 36-40, M
@Anniedlr The worst ever!
It honestly depends. If my future partner smokes, I'd voice my concerns for their health in the future.. but I won't force them to stop as it's their decision, no mine... but if they try to get me to start smoking, then I'm going to get them to stop smoking
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
The way things have gone health wise yes it is. Not to mention the history with my ex and he insisting it was his right to chain smoke in a house with our daughter despite her serious health problems. Had to go to court in part over that.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
No. Everyone is different. Eliminate too many things, then there's no one left.

I would rather stick with the important things like honesty.

A lier is a true deal breaker for me. So don't lie to me about anything, including smoking, then we'll be ok.
ThatGuyinHeels · 31-35, M
I’m in the process of quitting myself, so I can’t fault people for what I’ve done as well.
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
Aa long as they respect my wishes not to smoke around me, im good.
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
Smoking is the top deal-breaker
beckys501s · F
I love to smoke
@beckys501s i did to. glad i quit though...i hope you can to. too many shitty stories in my life for people who didn't...but yeah, nothing like a smoke and a coffee or beer...loved it back in the day
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
@beckys501s To almost all men that's an immediate turn-off. I guess there was a time when smoking was socially acceptable but not really anymore.
exexec · 70-79, C
I thought it was when we were dating. Later, I found out she was secretly smoking, and I was okay with it. It was a tension reliever for her, and she stopped "cold turkey" when she no longer needed it.
Greyjedi · M
In a corporal relationship yes, absolutely. In an online or astral/ethric relationship no. If I can smell her smoke it means we have truly connected.
Matt85 · 41-45, M
no
i mean i'd rather they didn't, cause it's slowly killing yourself
but it wouldn't stop me from loving someone
GoFish · 41-45, F
No… i nagged my husband for years to quit till he finally got so sick (bronchitis) he quit on his own..
SamHarris · 36-40, M
One of the biggest deal breakers of all the top ten deal breakers.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wetncthru · F
No, neither factory made or "hand rolled herbals" are deal breakers for me.

It would be now. My wife smoked when I met her, but so did virtually everyone I knew.
Subsumedpat · 41-45, M
More and more it is, just not as acceptable as it once was and for good reason.
wetncthru · F
Whether facory made or "hand rolled" are fine with me!
Neuman · M
almost certainly. I can smell cigarettes yards away.
in10RjFox · M
Cigarettes are .. and hope you didn't mean other stuffs ..
Pretzel · 70-79, M
as long as I don't have to light up, it's okay.
JPWhoo · 36-40, M
I don’t think so, but it’s a pretty big negative.
KingofBones1 · 46-50, M
Well if it's a deal breaker then keep on going

It's a slow painful suicide. It's death.
Bucki1818 · 41-45, M
Yes, I’d like her to smoke like me
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
No but I don’t like it
Anniedlr · 31-35, F

Not really just not in front of me and behind me or sides or while I am sleeping
swirlie · 31-35, F
Absolute dealbreaker for me. I have no tolerance for anyone who STILL smokes cigarettes in this day and age. Smoking is SO passé that I cannot believe there are still adults out there who smoke regularly.
Musicman · 61-69, M
Definitely! The odor just stinks and lingers in their clothes and everything.
