What was your first job ( part or full time)

For me it was delivering newspapers when I was 14.
I loved it as I used to cycle on my bike.

Tution , teaching a few girls some elementary maths, science & English - the basic idea was to spend time with young girls and try taking one to a cosy dark Movie hall. I was 18 years, in a hostel and starved of sex

The pay was just a by product - money to finance booze & weed 😜

@Domking Was the goal achieved?
Domking · 61-69, M
@Quimliqer yes, but didn't last long
We, in that age, were not actually patient, nor persistent.
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
@Domking Glad it worked out!!

🤔.........First job was delivering newspapers at 11-14 years old. I had two of the best paper routes in the city districts. I had two routes and both were next to a expensive private collage. My one route was just delivering at two 12 story dorms located on the collage campus. One male dorm and the other the woman's dorm. Delivering papers on the floors of the women's dorm was the best!! I'll never forget that experience of the things I saw on those women's floors.........It was 1969-1972, and it was the best time.
My second job, was at a Italian restaurant and pizzeria when was 14. It was next to the campus too. Great times too!

I worked at a cafe when i was 16
I was a paperboy myself. Early mornings, waking long before the sun came up. Those monster Sunday papers that caused me to make three trips home to full up the bags attached to my bike and my body. But somehow fun days. At a simpler time.

Other than on the farm? Working for a hay contractor loading, hauling and stacking hay in storage sheds. 12 years old.
First part time job was farming tobacco. First full time job was as a Correctional Officer.
Delivering newspapers. A job I am not even sure exists anymore.

Worked in a family friends garage at 13. Sorta cash thing and it wasn't anything important just cleaning up the tools and keeping the bays in order. Lead to a trade and eventually moving to another 😅
