Vegas is predatory. There are pawn shops on literally every other block on The Strip. Cheap motels usually right next to them. Many homeless are living in storm drains beneath the city. Biker gangs roam right outside city limits. And for some reason there's still an obsession with Elvis, even though the guy's been dead for almost 50 years

@Poppies I was talking to a guy who had just returned from there. He was talking about how the architecture was great but there were too many tourists. Said he found the solution. Pulled out his phone, showed me a picture of the Acropolis with the masses of people waiting to get closer. Then slid to the next photo where he had used the Google edit feature to delete all the people.
