What's a question you dread being asked?

Why can't you just be happy?🤔

"Don't you think it's time that your wife really needs to go into memory care?" I know that day is coming, and I dread having to make the decision. It will feel like betraying her, or failing her, not be able to care for her.

"You still off the drink?"

'Yep...like I'm an alcoholic in recovery. If you knew, or cared anything about me then you'd know about that chat that I had with the doctor that said that I keep drinking then I'd be dead...that may have been 14 years ago now but it still holds true...so, yeah, I'm off the drink..' is what I think of saying back to them.

Not a question really but along the same lines.

“So, tell me about you.”

Absolutely despise hearing that because my least favorite subject is myself and I’m more of a getting to know someone through organic exchanges that exposes one’s humor and even past experiences.

How I’m doing/feeling induces anxiety because the answer is never good and there’s pressure to make it sound better than it is lol

"What seems to be the trouble?" When I go to the doctor bc there's pretty much a list and they know it but they force me to repeat it anyway like it's not on their computer screen and well documented.🙄

When people ask “ so tell me about yourself”

I don’t know why I automatically forget who I am.

1.Why haven't I heard from you in a while?
(after telling them I work 12 hours a day and am dead afterwards)
2. How much do you make?
(contemplating how much they gotta show respect)

Any and all small talk..
Eg: coworkers who wish to know what I got up to on the weekend..
they don’t care.. it’s just the generic thing to ask ppl Monday mornings..

Then when I say I dunno I don't do anything they look annoyed lol
