Why don’t you want to have kids?

It seems kinda cruel to force a thing into existence when the world is so broken and dysfunctional. I'm basically dooming someone into suffering for my own satisfaction, with only the vague hopes that things might be better one day as a justification

I get that people have love to give and maybe even a nurturing instinct, but there are plenty of other people and animals that can use that type of attention as well. I'm perfectly content having only fur babies. My life doesn't feel any less full because of it

I don't want to give up being the protagonist of my own life. When you have children they become the protagonists. You always have to consider them first. Parents make endless sacrifices for their children, I don't want that.

My oldest son is 30. I asked him and he said the world was such a cruel place and he didn't want to bring any kids in it. I have 2 by my daughter that's 12 and 8. I guess I won't have anymore grandchildren. 😔

I’m 65. I lost the one child I had and never had another. If motherhood occurs, it will have to happen in my next life, now. 😏

Playing with my doll and pram at 8 years old, I always thought I would have kids when I grew up. Then I grew up and life didn’t go to plan. I became an auntie at the age of 33 and I knew for absolute certainty that I didn’t want to have kids after that.

I had two daughters while still in my teens. One of them is a mother of four herself now. I became a grandmother at 41.

I've been disabled and in constant pain for 15 years. I can hardly take care of myself much less bring a new life into this world.

My wife and I had 6 kids so I guess this question doesn't apply to me.

Among other reasons I said the last time the question was asked, I've never been in a life situation when even thinking about having kids would make any sense.

Been there, done that. It's not all it's cracked up to be. One of my sons is a convicted criminal and the other is a complete waste of space. I blame the parents.

I believe I am not worthy of it and also, relationships are so scary now a days.

People are afraid of responsibility but also: afraid to change their daily life.

My parents were horrible people. I knew at an early age I never wanted to be married or be anyone's father.

If you are ready to fulfil a life long responsibility then you do want to have kids

Two is sufficient, three is now impossible.
