What did you hate when you were younger and now you love so much?

Same, I was raised by raised by racists and bigots. It took my grandmother to say one sentence to me when I was 15 or 16 and it change my whole view of everything.

We need more people like my grandma and her wisdom and wise words.

Lets see if I can remember this word for word. "See your grandfather he is not white, he's of Mediterranean race and that makes you not white." Then she when on and pointed out other family member in family tree that are not white.

She also pointed out if I keep listening to my other family members, I would be no better then them and full of hate.

@OverTheHill Same story here. And as a rural Midwesterner in early life, I'd not even yet heard of pizza. (Dean Martin singing "...when the moon hits your eye like a big piece of pie" just puzzled me no end.)

@CrazyMusicLover Wait, there's a multitude of crudi and a significant difference in tastes between tjem, if you go with the more seasoned ones (≥24 months) you probably won't notice that at all?

Or maybe even something like jamon Iberico?
