Let go of whatever is bothering you that serves no purpose.

[c=800000]just let everything go and live[/c]
SW-User
What came this time was the joke about the guy who slipped while walking along a high mountain path. He just managed to grab an over-hanging branch and clung on tight above the 1000ft deep ravine.

Desperate, his arms aching, he cried out:-

"If there IS anyone up there, help me!'

A great voice then boomed from the heavens:-

"There IS somebody up here. I WILL help you. Just let go of the branch and the Eternal Arms will lift you high!"

The guy thinks, looks down at the great drop, then cries out again:-

"Is there ANYBODY ELSE up there?'
Let go of anything that will hold me back from a better future and a better life. I refuse to live on regrets. I leave the past where it belongs, in the past. I refuse to allow it to have any hold on me. God has given me His ultimate best and I will not give Him any less. I am not going to waste this precious life He gave me. I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.
Let go - when holding on hurts more than the consequences of letting go.

@Jonjdw I only know of this snack because it's talked about in the Netflix TV show 'Stranger Things'.

@stound This must be a popular song. This is a second share on this post.
@thinkingoutloud it was a bit of an anthem in the early 2000s, I think.
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
@stound I've always loved this

I feel like, a lot of times, I hold myself back.

So, when i hit that point, I let it rip.
Umile · 41-45, F
@thinkingoutloud im actually getting better at speaking up and handling it from the get. But, there are some things that I lable as not worth it. And when it overflows, so do I.
acpguy · C
@Umile Are you speaking of the gas build up from all the bean dip and beer you had? 🤣
Umile · 41-45, F
@acpguy mmmhm. No bean dip and beer needed.
HumanEarth · 56-60, M
When I let go of the rope and let my little brother fall off the roof when I was a kid and he broke his leg.
@HumanEarth You feel guilt still?
HumanEarth · 56-60, M
Nope, but "Let It Go" made it came back to memory.
NerdySoph · 26-30, F
letting go of a rope and someone falling backwards off a cliff as the result
@NerdySoph Were they okay? Were you okay?
NerdySoph · 26-30, F
@thinkingoutloud no idea, it stopped there
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
Frozen, because I had a wee girl when then movie came out and have seen the move dozens and dozens of times.
Sazzio · 31-35, M
Oh great! Now I have to get off my arse n get to work 😒 😡
@deadgerbil Hah, that song stayed on my mind for a long time after I watched Frozen.
Really, 'Go, or go ahead' quoting an artist, as sometimes letting go is not as easy, and we need to push some away to be able to let them go.
@thewindupbirdchronicles Letting go is difficult when we are still attached or when we have a responsibility towards it.
@thinkingoutloud All of those, from when we are attached, or even to when you just care, and you may or may not play a part, it's only (sometimes) so much your own part....

My job I want to “let go” of it lol
@Cinderella1day Do you have any thoughts on what you'd like to do?
Cinderella1day · 26-30, F
@thinkingoutloud well it’s the same job difference place. looking for better treatment. Regardless a roof and heat is more important than how I feel. No matter how much I might go through I remember being homeless and I’m not going back.
Cinderella1day · 26-30, F
@thinkingoutloud but I’m thinking about other jobs I can get into. I just haven’t found something I really want
acpguy · C
Someone that is complaining about something that is done and over but can't get on with life.
@acpguy I get how hard it can be to be stuck in past trauma. But yes, letting go is always the answer, they just need to find a path to it.
pride49 · 31-35, M
Let it go, let it go, can't hold it back anymore.
@pride49 a popular response on this post.

@thinkingoutloud .doc im still waking up from coma and brain surgery so all my documents are missing i found the main one but until i find my resume im still very much worried most seem to have been mysteriously erased.
jehova · 31-35, M
@thinkingoutloud if they are being censored does that prove my works' accuracy? A compliment actually! And i was very careful in saving backups in lots of places. Each and everytime i saved a new version(EDITION) i saved it on a different computer emailed it to myself and sometimes printed a copy it is even on this plateform in spots and parts. "The Oath of Human Citizenship". It was just part of "The Demigod of Financial Freedom" And i reposted my actual publications in it to immortalizd my work. It being missing is kinda frightening to me. Ill find it all. Eventually.
Ontheroad · M
Without context, I'd want to say "of what?"
@Ontheroad The context is irrelevant, because I asked what comes immediately to your mind. We all have something that would pop up.
Perhaps yours popped up with the need to know context, lol.

Moo moo cows
it is actually acceptance to me. letting go of something would be to fully accept it and then it will be able to continue on with the proper flow of vibration it was supposed to be traveling on before i stopped it.
@deathfairy Profound.
