Eat out so you don't have to cook or do dishes
Spend time reading, watching a show, or another activity where you don't have to interact with anyone.
Have a drink or five tonight.
Go out with friends. Stay out past bedtime.

Okay it all depends on what you're doing I used to work in the deli at yes the Big W I never chased a customer with a knife but on a couple of occasions I pulled one out and said Do you want me to start cutting you, or the meat?"
