@caPnAhab "Subscribe and hit the bell so you won't miss any of my content."
Dude, I clicked on two of your videos, the algorithm will bring your new content to me regardless and I deliberately don't subscribe so I wouldn't be pestered with notifications every other day when I already know that I want to see maybe 40% of what you produce.

@CrazyMusicLover pretty much, right? 😂

Inserting too much commentary.
I am thinking of two different kinds of videos in particular.
In one, we see a cute or funny video, often of a child or an animal, but there is nonstop captioning, either telling us what the child or animal is thinking, or saying things like "wait for it...".
In the other, the poster is making a political point by showing a clip of someone's speech or press conference, but half the video consists of the commentator rambling about "can you believe he said this?"
In both cases, my reaction is "this is not about YOU!"

I like pet videos…except when someone’s allowing an animal to be frightened or hurt as a source of amusement. That really makes me angry. 😞
HumanEarth · F
Not get to the point, makes the video draw out.
I like short, simple and to point videos.
If I want to watch a movie. I'll pop in a VHS tape or DVD

Cursing for absolutely no reason. If they curse because they are angry, I give them a pass.

Sow what to me is patently rubbish but could mislead others.
The worse offender though, to me, is Google for breaking the videos every minute to show childish, irrelevent advertisements. I know you can "skip" them but only part-way through them, and it is still a break designed to drag the whole thing down to suit those too idle to concentrate on anything.

Use AI generated voices.
Use no sound at all other than bad music and rely on text that seems often to be AI generated.
Use random stock pictures of obviously different people or animals to 'illustrate' a story to which they seem barely related with the apparent expectation that viewers will believe the story is from real life.
Use only one still picture throughout that is sometimes only a logo.
Have adverts for questionable products that call their credibility into question.

@onewithshoes I have never seen videos as you describe and hope never to, but I would end the last sentence after the word "adverts"!

Using corroded or banged up pots & pans during a cooking demonstration…scratched up Teflon etc. Yikes
Tells a story about homeless or gangs or drug addicts in one city and then shows videos from other cities that are nothing like the city they are talking about….For example, the story is about Oklahoma City and then the videos show palm trees.

Be longer than 3 minutes... I ain't watching that...

@sstronaut Surely it depends on the subject and quality?
A badly-made, childish video about nothing of any point or significance might be too long at one minute.
If though, well-made and about a genuine subject of real interest to you, surely the length is not important and indeed may even need be nearer thirty than three, minutes long?
