Where were you in 1985?

I wasn't actually born yet. In fact my parents just met each other that year at a Bible school in Oklahoma, according to what they told me when I was a kid.

I was born that year so in the womb and then in Slough, spending most of my time in a crib.

My last year of college. My last quarter ended in December 1985. UCLA has the quarter system, October-December, January-March, and April-June with winter and spring break in between respectively.

It was T-tops and ghetto blasters on the block, then LL Cool J's hit single dropped.

Masters of the Universe began our mornings; Michael Knight closed our days.

Madonna, MJ, Vanilla Ice; red hot summers cruising on our bikes.

There'll never be another generation like it.

@Pfuzylogic atc and dme share common frequencies... It's a pain when you're doing exams and get them confused🤣

@Convivial Common frequencies were why you couldn’t use cell phones on commercial flights in the beginning. Our biggest problem with interference was from the 15G20 radar simulator because the repeaters could not tell the difference from its injected video from real returns!

I was ten. Either at school or on the ranch. Occasionally I’d be in town if were shopping or some such but most of my time not in school was all in the ranch.
