I'm more hands on and physical in person.

What I mean is - I'm a physically active person and always on the move doing something. From either working on our farm, working the night job, fixting, building or making or doing a DYI project.

I'm still who I am, but here, I'm more reserved, (although I'm not a verbosity person typically and hold my own counsel) but not as open or free to reveal many personal things. I know many enjoy it for that reason. But to me it feels quite odd or uncomfortable to reveal personal or private things to an arena of semi strangers. I'm more of a one on one person.

I do enjoy expressing some types of things and the poetry / writing facets of me.

Mostly more open. I think there would be a double take from some people but then they'd think about it and realize that it tracks.

Those who know us would be surprised at some of the posts of activities my wife and I enjoyed in the past, but otherwise, I think what you see on here is close to the real "us."

nah i don't go out much irl it's safer to be at home and socialize online imo i'm kinda a hermit irl but i'm never anything but myself online or off .. maybe an exaggerated flattering version vs the harsh reality but whatever

I would say this is one true aspect of me without being the whole picture. Part of my personality is here, not all of it. Obviously my work mode is not engaged here, or my putting up shelves mode. My humour is here and sometimes my empathy and understanding.

Of course. I don't talk to the Americans about politics in person unless I'm sure they're weaker, slower and unarmed, also surrounded by their boss and public and cameras! It's so very conservative everywhere!
