No. I either try to get along with people I don’t like or I avoid them entirely.

No. I save my efforts for the needs of those I do like.

The exception perhaps is the office. I try to be nice to everyone, but it is my job. I am the boss. I’m also a firm believer that everyone deserves to be happy at work as long as they’re making a reasonable attempt to be successful. That leads to greater confidence which hopefully makes their home life better too.

I can tolerate people I don’t like for other people’s concern but I don’t pretend to like them, they will know my feelings towards them.

It depends on if they are pretending to like me and what they expect. If they are wanting to hang out all the time then no I don’t pretend. But if it’s a person I have to work with then yes. I’ll pretend as long as they do.

In my experience, people with complimentary values and personalities tended to naturally gravitate together.
Making it easy to avoid awkward interactions with those who don't relate well.

My first reaction is to treat people as if I assume the best instead of the worst. Later, if they attack me or I find them talking about how they hate people who [fill in the blank] and their hate applies to me... I'll adjust my view of them and stay away.

No. People generally know where they stand with me. In work situations I was professional with everyone, but I kept interactions with colleagues I found difficult to a minimum.

I adapt to the people I'm around and usually if I'm showing interest and wanna talk to them it means I like their person. I'm more quiet if I'm not liking someone but I'm never rude in their face, however online and sometimes irl too I might say a few words or two about why I think someone is disrespectful. So in one way I'm not hiding it but in other ways I am.

I don't generally dislike people. There are some who I am not so keen but I am still polite. What I'm not good at is pretending to enjoy myself when I'm not. If I'm at a party I don't want to be at, I find joining in difficult.
