@tindrummer So it wasn't a difficult question.
tindrummer · M
@Harriet03 It was pretty obvious wasn't it?
Kidding around as Texas was independent at one time and Texans have a rep for being prideful and ornery about it..

I'm American, and as far back as anyone has traced my lineage, all of my ancestors are from Italy. My mother was born there, as were all four of my grandparents. So I refer to myself as Italian-American.
@DrWatson Yes, that would make you Italian-American.

@Iwillwait

Here's my genetic profile...

After comparing it to my documented genealogical history (established family tree) dating back to the 1500s in Spain/France we found it matched perfectly. The main grouping (Mediterranean) confirmed the haplogroup heat map finding provided by 23andMe as well as National Geographic, and the percentages given were icing on the cake. I have to say this was an exciting and welcome treat on the road to my complete self-discovery of who I really am and encourage others to do the same. I'm basically a science-oriented person and found this all incredibly fascinating.

Looks like your long list there was compiled over years of study and I encourage you to try 23andMe as well for further discovery. Oh and I forgot, both 23andMe & National Geographic show how every human being on earth has up to 4% neanderthal/Denisovan caveman genes in them, which adds a whole other dimension to the human journey. DM me if you want to know more.
Iwillwait · M
@PatKirby ooh I do not doubt the Neanderthal genealogy what so ever.

British, but my boss did once say that I was an honorary Viking.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@NativePortlander1970 It's possible but not very. On my mother's side I'm Cornish, quite definitely Celtic for many generations, not many Norse connections in the South West. My father's side is from London but I don't know much about them beyond my grandparents, there could be Danish or Norman connections there perhaps. Britain as a whole never had a Scandinavian king although Canute was king of England 1016-1035.
@ninalanyon Your father's side could have Roman bloodlines from the occupation starting from 44BCE
@ninalanyon These were the four Danes that ruled England 1,000 years ago...

Just flat out American. I need not add any ancestry because you did not ask what Nationality and ancestry do you have.
@WillaKissing I always thought you were English for some reason.
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard Oh, nope just good old American. I have English ancestry though along with German and Sicilian.

Hey, come to think about it, maybe it is because I pick on the English so much for butchering the English language.
