@ninalanyon The Brits did have some Scandinavian kings and many Scandinavian people living throughout the island 1,000 odd years ago, You could have a possible Viking heritage.

@NativePortlander1970 It's possible but not very. On my mother's side I'm Cornish, quite definitely Celtic for many generations, not many Norse connections in the South West. My father's side is from London but I don't know much about them beyond my grandparents, there could be Danish or Norman connections there perhaps. Britain as a whole never had a Scandinavian king although Canute was king of England 1016-1035.
