I think you need a shelf. It's not good for the book binding to store them that way.

@Richard65 my favorite authors at the moment are Sylvia Plath and Ottessa Moshfegh

@Porcelaingrl I'm not familiar with Moshfegh, but I had to do an essay on The Bell Jar at university, which got a 98% mark. I've never read Rand, but have read a few other books you have there. You can't beat a good book or fifty.

Hmm, the first one on the bottom picture and on top of the center pile, just underneath that miniature dresser is an erotic book or novel. Do you really want to know what I think of your collection?

Usually the books you read last tend to be on top of the pile, thus my deduction is that you have a hard time falling asleep and that you need a little push or motivation.

Reminds me of when I worked at a bookstore. My boss talked to book clubs and she had all of her recommendations on a cart. I would sneak Amerìcan Psycho onto it.

It's a beginners start. Keep it up though. Add some more variety. A decent dictionary or even a couple of encyclopedia sets would help.

My last place I had only three book shelves. Before that four book shelves.

My library at my father's place was wall to wall.
