@Ynotisay It is true that a hospital is the most dangerous place to go. That has always been true, and will continue to be. Yes, you can hurt your arm, then go to hospital and get Covid, but more likely you will catch it going to the store, to a wedding or funeral, or standing at one of Trumps conferences surrounded by hundreds of other infected people. Stay home, wear a mask.

@Tastyfrzz The hospitals being overwhelmed is such a KEY factor to this whole thing and should be driving people to wear masks and do the right thing. We have finite number of beds and I've been reading about hospitals having to make the "live or die" decision because they need space. They're sending people home. That should NEVER happen in this country.

@Stereoguy Here the first region to be hit, as you probably know, was Lombardy (the industrial and financial heart of the country, with Milan coincidentally being our equivalent to NYC, sort of). I think had it affected any other region, the lockdown would've come probably earlier. Industrialists made the strongest opposition to the lockdown, even more than tourism-related businesses/lobbies.
