U think the rock was born wealthy. I heard his family was poor when he was growing up. He went to college like most people and started to do football. I think he got hurt and that is when he came up with the idea of wrestling like his dad did. Because of wrestling he wanted to do acting. I'm sure he went to interviews just like any other person for a job

Still lots of time to make a lot of money

As someone that won the vaginal lotto. Not everyone is meant to. Just like the real lotto is all a game of chance. As for happiness. Even ppl with money have problems.

As my mom used to say, it's a shame we weren't born rich instead of beautiful.

That was an ironic statement, of course.

If you are like most lottery winners, you'd have only ruined your life and pissed it all away.
“Money don’t but happiness”…

Me: bich. I’ll be the judge of that…

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it's sure as hell easier to find if you aren't having to stress about bills all the time.

@nocool Given your age and family situation, what would you do if you won $100,000,000 net this week?

@Diotrephes
That is a BUNCH of money.. i would do a LOT!!! I don't need the money, so i would invest it all to advance the individuals in my community.... and others....

I would invest in local businesses and charities where i am.. Where i am, folks who employ people are struggling... little cash flow goes a very long way...

I would start a technical school in low income areas to help kids coming from my same background.... i would foster REAL life skills to them...

I am slowly working to do that now with the returns from my own labor...

But folks have to earn their place for help... in all my experience.... if you don't earn it... you never respect it....

@nocool It's nice that you have a plan. Most people who come into big money don't have a clue about what to do with it.

With a $100,000,000 net jackpot I would divide it into 5 equal shares, with 4 going to immediate family members and 1 to me. That is $20,000,000. Personally, at my age I have no real personal need for that, so I would set up a gift budget and give people $18,000 gifts (the current gift amount without having to pay gift taxes). So, I could give 200 people $18,000 each per year for a total of $3,600,000. In 3 years that would total $10,800,000 and I would still have $9,200,000. The lifetime exclusion gift exclusion is $13.61 million (as of 2024). I could still set-up college funds for kids who need them. But if I kept the entire $9,200,000 for myself that would give me a monthly budget of $38,333 for 240 months (20 years). What would you spend $38,333 on every month? Besides, I doubt if I would live another 20 years. Of course my estate would have to pay some taxes on any money left over.

In the meantime, the other 4 people will have their own $20,000,000 each to support their own families.
