What is a good brain food or brain exercise?

I called to make an appointment for my car to get its oil changed, and the guy asked me what kind of vehicle it is. My mind went blank. I suddenly could not remember.

Ffs 😖

For forgetfulness, good brain foods includefatty fish (like salmon) for omega-3s, berries for antioxidants, nuts (especially walnuts) for omega-3s and fats, leafy greens (like spinach and broccoli) for B vitamins and antioxidants, and coffee and green tea for focus and alertness. These foods provide essential fats, vitamins, and antioxidants that support memory, focus, and overall brain health.

Yep I copied it from AI. I couldn't remember after the first 5 words. 🤣😂
I’m on lion’s mane and turmeric supplements to help right now. OR you could just write it on your hand like I do sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀

gingko biloba supplements are great for your brain health and greatly improve memory. it come sin tea too but i dont think it tastes that good.
@Penny i guess adding sugar defeats the purpose?
IM5688 · 61-69, M
@Bexsy You can use honey instead of sugar. It gives you the sweetness but is much healthier for you.
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
They have memory training apps on your phone now that can help with that. But if you want I can just put you in an old folks home.

I do crosswords and word games. I hope they help but honestly I don’t know.
Foods .. Grilled /baked fish, nuts, berries, green leafy veggies

Activities that require you to use both the left and right sides of the brain at the same time
- Juggling and learning new fine motor skills
- Listen to music /podcasts while balancing a check book, writing emails, or doing jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, etc or playing cards, board games
- Singing while running your woodchipper

;-) 😎
@BrandNewMan the last one I can do happily!
@Bexsy A Bexsy bonus

The thing to do is to make something up .

"It's a 2019 Ford Tarantula."

Then the guy on the phone will panic and worry that his mind just went blank!

Try blueberries and rosemary

Hahahaha I forgot the name of the person I went to meet right in his face I was trying hard to remember.

One question...

Why does the kind of car matter for the scheduling of an appointment for an oil change?
@TrunkZ I'm assuming to know what kind of oil it takes? Tools? Idk honestly
TrunkZ · 56-60, M
@Bexsy Exactly. I am not sure there is a reason that they need to know at the time of scheduling an appointment other than it is just what they always do as part of their routine. Maybe if it is some exotic. Would be interesting to ask. The questioned becomes the questioner 😏😏
