Dose anyone keep their bread in the fridge?

I put all bread in the freezer the moment it gets here. For some reason, the process of freezing delays the process of mold growth considerably. After a loaf of bread has been frozen for a couple of weeks, I remove it and put it in the fridge, where it stays good for almost an entire month.

And yes, the bread goes stale and hard, but I restore it by placing the bread on a plate and microwaving it for 20 seconds before I make a sandwich. You can also toast it, and that restores it, too.

Yes and my daughter and her friends think I’m strange for it lol. It’s not strange at all to me.

If I buy bread from the deli, I do. If I just buy it off the shelf in the grocery, it has so much preservatives it doesn’t need to be refrigerated.
@Softandsweet2 Keeping it in the fridge tends to dry it out.

@Hinckley heat will soften even the toughest of bread. Nuke it

Only gluten free breads. The other breads, unless they come straight from a bakery, are so loaded with preservatives that they will keep for a couple weeks without getting moldy.
The freezer. I don’t eat much bread.

Does that not make it hard
