If somebody doesn't cry about somebodies death or at least not right away does that make them heartless?

If it does, then most of us are heartless most of the time. The number of deaths I hear about each day mean I would have no time for living in this life should each break my heart. If it is someone close to me, that would be different. Not all people show their emotions in conventional ways and when you reach a certain age, more and more family and friends check out and you learn who really matters(ed) as you decide which farewell ceremony you decide you must attend and which a card/message of condolence is sufficient.
I couldn't cry when my dad first died. I was there with him, it was hard to watch his body give up, for hours. By the end of it I was so messed up I couldn't feel anything.

@MarbleMarvel sorry I meant hug
Nope, sometimes were into too much shock to cry over one's death this happens all you can do is hope for the best and pray 🙏 about things even if you're a non- believer just give it a shot.

Not at all. They might be too stunned to cry immediately, or if the person who died was suffering, they may be grateful that their suffering is over.

no. everyone grieves differently. it seems black and white until you lose someone close to you

Nope.

Just means the person that died did them wrong too many a times.

It happens. That's life.

Funny how most people can only see how a person is to them.

ViciDraco · 36-40, M
No. Not everyone grieves the same way. And sometimes the tears over a death can come for the first time years after the event.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
No not necessarily.
Not necessarily. They could understand that life is continuous, and could be celebrating that rather than grieving a death that doesn't exist.
