If somebody doesn't cry about somebodies death or at least not right away does that make them heartless?

If it does, then most of us are heartless most of the time. The number of deaths I hear about each day mean I would have no time for living in this life should each break my heart. If it is someone close to me, that would be different. Not all people show their emotions in conventional ways and when you reach a certain age, more and more family and friends check out and you learn who really matters(ed) as you decide which farewell ceremony you decide you must attend and which a card/message of condolence is sufficient.
